The Ting Xiao Sword's blade trembled, its tone tinged with uncertainty. "I'm not sure. That cloud of blood mist seemed to carry some kind of intense malice. It was like... a curse!"

Just then, he felt a faint heat on his face. The heat grew more and more intense, as if he were being branded with a hot iron, before it slowly dissipated a moment later.
