Once the Mama Fruit took effect, Ophelia and the clan doctor began cleaning Brown's wound.
Using the small tweezers Ophelia had bought from the System Mall, the two carefully picked out the gravel from his flesh.
Within half an hour, Ophelia and the clan doctor had extracted twenty to thirty pieces of fine gravel.
Once she was sure no debris remained, Ophelia prepared to apply the hemostatic powder to Brown's wound. Before applying it, however, she used a sterilized Bone Knife to slice off Brown's mangled flesh.
The Bear Clan Leader stared at the piece of meat in the Stone Bowl, astonished. "Ophelia, this..."
"Leaving this mangled flesh would hinder his wound's recovery. Even if it eventually healed together, it would still cause him occasional pain in the future. It's better to just cut it off cleanly," Ophelia explained.
