"I won't regret this," Ophelia said, her voice muffled against him. "Not all mistakes deserve forgiveness. Once some things are broken, they stay broken."
"Yes. You don't need to care about outsiders, Princess. As long as you are happy, that's all that matters. I will handle the rumors outside for you," Tyler said softly, kissing the forehead of the person in his arms.
Ophelia's mood improved significantly.
In the grassy nest, Ophelia rested her hand against Tyler's chest, feeling his powerful heartbeat. The temperature in the small space continued to rise.
"Princess?" Tyler's voice was a little hoarse. He looked up at her, wild waves surging in his deep brown eyes.
Ophelia didn't speak. She simply leaned down and gently wrapped her arms around his neck. Her long golden hair fell and brushed against Tyler's cheeks. She could feel his breathing quicken and his body temperature gradually rise, becoming scorchingly hot.
"Tyler," she called out to him softly. "I love you."
