Ophelia stared coldly at Miche with her azure eyes, the corners of her lips curling up in a hint of mockery.
"Miche, these are the only tricks you know. A female who only knows how to act weak isn't fit to be the Clan Leader's wife.
"Don't go falling sick from exhaustion after just a couple of days of work. Who knows if a certain someone might blame you for being useless then."
In the past, her affection for Loki was the only reason she had been played like a fiddle by Miche's petty schemes. Now that she had come to her senses, the other woman's tactics seemed like nothing more than cheap tricks. If Miche could subtly stir up trouble, she certainly could too.
Miche shook her head, a wronged expression on her face. "Ophelia, you've misunderstood. Loki, it was really just me being careless and losing my footing. It had nothing to do with Ophelia."
