Gazing into the man's deep eyes, Zoe Rhodes swallowed nervously.
She blinked, her tone firm. "Then I definitely care... about you."
She had barely hesitated. The question wasn't as hard to answer as she had imagined.
'Worrying that the villain and the female lead getting together would affect my brother—how is that not a form of caring?'
'I care a whole lot, okay!'

Zoe Rhodes made a little sound, wagged a finger in front of him, and chuckled. "That's the second question."
"You just said you'd only ask one."
The young woman thought she had the upper hand, and her smugness was written all over her face.
