She spoke with a stern seriousness, as if she were laying down house rules.
This was exactly what Ryan Sterling loved about Evelyn Grant!
He didn't feel it was a blow to his ego in the slightest. On the contrary, he felt it was proof that Evelyn Grant had truly accepted him. Only because she saw him as her man would she speak to him this way.
"Okay, anything you say."
"When you get there, focus on your work. I'll be fine here. I'll just visit my mom now and then, and otherwise, I'll just be at the law firm or at home. You don't have to worry!"
Ryan Sterling nodded, and as he listened to her instruct him to take work seriously, he couldn't help but smile.
'This feeling of a wife giving her husband instructions... it's just the best, isn't it?'
It all felt so surreal to Ryan Sterling, as if he were in a dream.
Perhaps no one could ever truly understand his feelings, or fully comprehend just how important Evelyn Grant was to Ryan Sterling.
