This was what panicked Julian Sterling the most!
All his previous confidence had stemmed from Evelyn Grant's past feelings for him. He thought they ran so deep that she would never withdraw them so easily.
But now, it seemed she was truly pulling away!
When had Evelyn Grant ever not answered his calls or read his texts before?
She had always responded to him immediately.
"If she's not contacting you, why don't you take the initiative? She's angry, so don't try to have a standoff with her right now! You need to swallow your pride and go coax her!"
"I already have! I call her, but she doesn't answer. I text her, and she doesn't reply. I went to her law firm to find her, but Ryan was there to stop me! I even had someone arrange a meeting with her as a client, but Ryan immediately had the firm cancel the contract!" The more Julian Sterling thought about it, the angrier he became. "I never imagined he would go this far!"
They had agreed to let the best man win.
