Julian Sterling was about to lose his mind with rage.
The fact that *he* was the one by Evelyn Grant's side made Julian feel utterly powerless. If it had been anyone else, he could have just forced Evelyn to stay with him. Julian wouldn't have cared who the person was or what their status might be; he would have acted without a second thought.
But Ryan Sterling...
His status meant Julian Sterling couldn't openly turn hostile, much less make a move on Evelyn Grant by force.
