Chloe Shea had just one son and one daughter. All she wanted was for her children to be healthy and have their own happy families.
When Julian Sterling walked in, he instinctively looked around.
This was an old apartment building. Though the unit itself was a decent size, the walls were covered in peeling paint and discolored patches.
There were even water stains and signs of mold in the corners of the ceiling.
"Mom, have you always lived here?"
"Yes! It's very convenient here. There's a fresh market right out front and another market out back. You can find anything you need!" After speaking, Chloe Shea went into the kitchen to pour Julian Sterling a glass of water. She then washed some fruit and brought it out. "I wasn't expecting you, so I'm not really prepared!"
"Please, don't go to any trouble." Julian Sterling sat on the sofa, looked at his mother-in-law, and hesitated for a few seconds before speaking. "I have an apartment in Kyro. Why don't you and Alex move in there?"
