Zhang Aihua also gave them each a basket.
Despite the stench of dung clinging to them, Mei Na and Kilton were quite happy to have baskets for carrying things.
Just as they were about to leave, they remembered to ask, "What are you going to do with the dung?"
They had never farmed before and didn't know dung could be used as fertilizer.
Zhang Aihua smiled. "We're going to mix it with some water to make fertilizer for the seedlings. They should grow better this way."
It dawned on Kilton and Mei Na. They looked at the seedlings in Zhang Aihua's vegetable patch, pointed at a strawberry plant, and said, "What kind of seedling is this? We have some too!"
Zhang Aihua took a look and said, "That's a strawberry seedling!"
Mei Na was instantly delighted. "Strawberries! We should go get some fertilizer for ours, too!"
Kilton, being more meticulous, asked Zhang Aihua, "How much should we use?"
