Qin Shen dove into the sea. It was a while before his head broke the surface.
Jiang Si waved. "Come on up!"
"In a second," Qin Shen said.
With another powerful dive, he plunged back into the sea.
The azure sea shimmered like beautiful silk, but it was nothing compared to the dazzling sight of Qin Shen emerging from the water.
The way Qin Shen swam toward her was a little strange. As he got closer, Jiang Si saw that he had actually found a seashell, one even bigger than the one Zhang Aihua and the others had found.
It was a gorgeous shell, its surface shimmering like the pristine Milky Way.
It might even hold a pearl bigger than the last one.
Jiang Si grew excited. "Did you get this just for me?"
'What an incredibly sweet guy Qin Shen is,' she thought. 'All I did was glance at it a few times.'
Qin Shen nodded. "If there's no pearl inside, I'll go find another one."
