Takeru stepped into the water first.
He slowly lowered himself until the water reached his shoulders.

He closed his eyes.

Yuji climbed in beside him.
"Man..."
He leaned back.
"This feels amazing."
Panda lowered himself into the water with a satisfied sigh.
"I could stay here forever."
Todo sat down nearby.
"AFTER SUCH A GLORIOUS BATTLE..."
He slowly relaxed.
"...THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE DESERVE."
Nanami adjusted his position against the edge.
For once, he wasn't thinking about paperwork.
He simply sat there quietly.
Kirara settled into the water as well, looking completely content.
Takeru looked around at everyone.
Everyone was relaxed.
Everyone was smiling.
Nobody was fighting.
Nobody was screaming.
Nobody was trying to kill anyone.
Takeru smiled.
"Guys..."
Yuji looked over.
"Yeah?"
Takeru leaned his head back against the edge.
"We should do this more often."
Yuji nodded.
"Definitely."
Panda raised one paw.
"Agreed."
Todo gave a solemn nod.
"An excellent tradition."
Nanami closed his eyes.
"...As long as it remains peaceful."
Takeru smiled.
"Deal."
Steam drifted through the air.
For the first time in a long while, everyone could simply sit there and enjoy being alive.
Takeru quietly sank a little deeper into the water.
"This..."
He smiled.
"...is perfect."
Yuji grinned.
