Chapter 144 - John, what did you do?!

[Master Kama Sutra]

Legendary Skill

You are a true master of lovemaking and passion, no mortal man can match your mastery over the carnal arts, and the bodies of your partners may as well be putty in your hands, even gods would be rendered to helpless messes with your lovemaking skills.

'Huh?' My brain stalled out as I felt the neuron activation.

A sudden, overwhelming flood of specific yet incredibly detailed information forcefully downloaded itself directly into my mind. Positions, angles, nerve clusters, pacing—centuries of carnal knowledge hitting me all at once.

I slowly turned my head.

Nakime was standing right beside me. She leaned in, her beautiful pink eyes filled with concern as she reached out with a cloth to wipe the sweat from my cheek.

My wild imagination immediately took the new information and ran with it. I pictured her, exactly as she was, reduced to a helpless, blushing mess under my newfound 'Legendary' skills.

My face erupted in a furious, burning blush as I violently jerked my head away, looking back at the apocalyptic wasteland.

"Master?" Nakime asked, tilting her head in confusion. "Are you running a fever?"

"I'm fine!" I squeaked, aggressively shaking my head to clear the extremely inappropriate thoughts. 'Focus, John! The moon is falling! Stop being horny during the apocalypse! Don't be that guy.'

But the concentration finally broke.

"Master!" Nakime yelled over the roaring energy. "Focus! You are leaking!"

I closed my eyes tight and slowly, the violent purple winds died down.

I sat there, panting heavily, sweat pouring down my face.

"Okay," I gasped, wiping my chin. "Okay. I'm calm. I'm cool. Everything is fine."

"Are you sure, dear?" Supermom asked carefully from behind the wooden barricade. "Because you were glowing like a neon sign for a second there."

"I'm fine," I wheezed.

I quickly selected the next ticket, desperate for a distraction.

I tore it.

[THE Stop Sign]

Elite Item

An indestructible stop sign, whenever the head of this stop sign makes contact with something it kills all of its momentum instantly.

I opened my hand only to see a red, octagonal-shaped metal stop sign with a slightly chipped wooden pole materialize in my grip,

I stared at it surrounded by boiling oceans, reversing gravity, and falling meteors.

Pessimism settled heavily into my bones.

'Great,' I thought, while twirling the sign. 'I'll just hold this up to the tectonic plates and ask them nicely to stop moving. Or maybe I can wave it at the dying atmosphere.'

I tossed the stop sign into my inventory with a heavy sigh.

'This is hopeless. The gacha has to be trolling me.'

I grabbed another Legendary ticket and ripped it.

[Unlock]

Legendary Ability

Allows you to unlock entities, this ability is conceptual in nature. The things you can unlock range from locks to someone's inner potential. Imagination and energy costs are your limit, the more abstract and harder the target is to unlock, the more energy is spent.

I paused.

'Conceptual unlocking?'

My brain immediately connected the dots. I was currently sitting here squeezing my eyes shut like I was trying to pass a kidney stone, using all my willpower just to keep my infinite energy from leaking out and cooking the atmosphere.

What if I just... unlocked a bigger container?

I didn't hesitate. I activated the ability and turned it entirely inward, targeting the conceptual limits of my own physical and spiritual vessel. Because I had an infinite source, the abstract cost didn't matter. I poured an ocean of power into my own soul, forcefully unlocking my body's capacity to seamlessly channel the infinite flow.

Click.

It felt like someone had finally installed the right-sized plumbing for a cosmic firehose. The agonizing, suffocating pressure in my chest instantly vanished. The violent aura I was leaking completely neutralized, settling into a calm, perfect equilibrium inside my veins.

I let out a massive, heavy sigh of relief and finally, effortlessly, opened my eyes.

The world suddenly shifted. I saw layers upon layers of potential draped over everything.

I looked at Mark Grayson, who was standing a few feet away with Allen. I could see the biological limits placed on his Viltrumite DNA. And instantly saw that if I poured enough energy into him, I could 'unlock' his dormant potential, pushing him past Thragg's level instantly.

I looked down at the shattered bedrock and even see the kinetic potential locked inside the pebbles.

I reached down and plucked a surviving blade of green grass from the dirt while looking up at the sky.

A massive chunk of lunar rock, roughly the size of a football stadium, was falling directly toward us at entry velocity. It was burning bright red, screaming through the atmosphere.

"Uh, John?" Mark called out, pointing at the sky with his good arm. "That one looks like it's got our name on it."

"Should I go and stop it?" Allen asked nervously.

I dismissed his offer as I held the fragile blade of grass between my fingers. I engaged the Unlock ability unlocking the absolute physical potential of the plant matter.

Because I had infinite energy, the cost didn't matter. I poured a fraction of a percent of a supernova directly into the grass.

The blade glowed with a blinding purple light.

I casually flicked my wrist, slashing the blade of grass upward at the sky.

And despite my casual action, a crescent-shaped arc of purple energy tore through the atmosphere, connecting with the stadium-sized meteor.

There was no noise as the meteor simply sliced cleanly in half. The two massive chunks drifted apart, missing our crater entirely and crashing into the distant plains behind us.

The blade of grass disintegrated into ash in my fingers.

I looked over at Mark and Allen.

Both of them stood completely frozen. Their jaws had literally dropped open, hanging slack in shock.

"Did you..." Allen whispered, his single eye twitching. "Did you just cut a meteor... with a lawn clipping?"

I ignored him, still not satisfied.

The ability was incredibly cool, don't get me wrong.

But it still didn't fix the core of the planet!

I couldn't just stand here and slice every single falling rock for the rest of eternity. I needed the Earth to heal.

"Come on!" I yelled, my frustration finally boiling over. I looked up at the sky, cursing out RNGesus. "Give me something to fix the planet! I know you're up there laughing at me! Drop the Fucking loot!"

I only had one Legendary ticket left.

I didn't even want to roll it. The sheer frustration of the gacha was testing my mental limits more than Thragg, Conquest, and the Entity combined. Fighting for your life is one thing, but getting screwed by the loot tables? Now that's just sad.

But the sky was still full of falling rocks, Earth was still dying, and I had no other choice.

'Last roll,' I thought, completely devoid of hope. 'Just give me something'… anything… please'

I tore the final ticket and the pink wheel spun for the final time.

[Shenron]

Legendary Familiar

Dragon Ball - A legendary magical dragon capable of granting its user a wish, Shenron can only be manifested once a year, allowing his user to ask for a wish that it will grant as long as it is within his power.

I stopped breathing.

The system interface faded away.

In my item storage, I could feel them. Seven smooth, heavy orbs, pulsing with a deep, ancient magical resonance.

My brain completely stalled out.

For a second, nothing happened.

The sky went pitch black in an instant, suffocating darkness that swallowed the afternoon sun whole. It was like someone had thrown a heavy velvet blanket over the sky.

The air pressure dropped so violently that my ears popped.

Thick, golden lightning began to arc silently across the blackened sky, illuminating the falling chunks of the ruined moon in stroboscopic flashes of yellow light.

"What's happening?!" Allen yelled, his single eye wide with terror.

"John, what did you do?!" Mark screamed.

But before I could even form a coherent thought, a massive pillar of golden energy erupted from the seven orbs, shooting straight up into the blackened sky.

Coiling out of the unnatural darkness, dwarfing the remaining storm clouds and covering the entire visible horizon from end to end, a creature manifested.

It was a colossal, serpentine Asian dragon.

Its massive body was covered in glowing emerald green scales that pulsed with an ancient, divine energy. Long, flowing whiskers trailed majestically from its ancient snout. Two enormous, glowing red eyes opened, staring down at the ruined Earth.

It radiated an aura of divinity that made every single hair on the back of my neck stand up in primal awe.

I just stood there, staring up at the most iconic dragon in any piece of media hovering over the world.

My brain couldn't process it. It was one thing to read the system text but another thing to watch a miles-long magical dragon blotting out the sun in real life.

"I AM THE ETERNAL DRAGON FROM WORLDS AFAR. STATE YOUR WISH, MY NEW MASTER AND I SHALL GRANT IT... ANY WISH AT ALL!"

Shenron's voice boomed, carrying the physical weight of a god.

Before I could even open my mouth to speak, a swirling, neon-green portal ripped open in the air a few yards away.

And before I could even register what happened in the last minute, a shrill voice came, disrupting the divine mood.

"KAISEEEENNNNNN!!!!"
