The five beast husbands arrived back at the tribe that night after being able to acquire only two of the herbs.
They met Sunnie as they returned and handed them to her.
"Sorry we couldn't find the third one. We had to return because it was already late. Maybe tomorrow we can continue, or maybe we should go now?" Zayn said.
But Sunnie smiled. "It's okay. These two are the most important," she explained.
The beast husbands were confused now as they looked around. The whole tribe was dark compared to how it should be—illuminated with fire and all.
So they wondered what could be the issue. "What happened? Why is there no light around? Did anything happen in the tribe while we were away?"
Sunnie smiled as she turned. "No. But you can go forward and see."
Confused, the five of them stepped forward to the center where the fire was usually burning. They moved closer, suspicious.
But as they got to the center, the lights suddenly came up.
