Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Stone That Ended It All

Chapter 1: The Stone That Ended It All

No one remembered when they first started calling her an idiot.

Maybe it was when she tried to cook soup without water.

Or when she got lost walking in a straight line.

Or when she confidently waved at her own reflection for five whole minutes.

Whatever the reason, the name stuck.

"Oi, idiot! Don't wander too far!" a villager shouted.

The girl turned, blinking slowly.

"…Wander?" she repeated, as if tasting the word for the first time.

Her name was Lira.

And yes—she was, undeniably, completely, hopelessly… an idiot.

---

But there was one thing people always forgot.

Lira was strong.

Not "chop-wood-carry-water" strong.

Not "village guard" strong.

No—Lira was wrong strong.

The kind of strength that made no sense.

The kind that made the air feel heavier when she stretched.

The kind that made the ground crack when she tripped.

---

"Hmm…"

Lira crouched by the roadside, staring at a small stone.

It was round. Smooth. Nice.

"…Good rock," she decided.

She picked it up.

---

Miles away, inside the grand palace of the Empire, the Emperor sat upon his golden throne.

Silk banners swayed.

Guards stood like statues.

Nobles whispered.

Power filled the room like a suffocating fog.

"This empire stands eternal," the Emperor declared proudly.

---

Back on the dirt road—

Lira squinted at the horizon.

"…Throw?" she said.

There was no reason.

No target.

No thought.

Just… throw.

---

She tossed the stone.

---

It didn't fly.

It vanished.

The air split.

A shockwave carved a line across forests, mountains, and rivers—like the world itself had been scratched by a careless god.

---

Inside the throne room—

A single sound echoed.

CRACK.

The Emperor didn't even have time to blink.

---

The palace wall exploded inward.

A blur shot through the hall—

—and in the next instant, the Emperor was gone.

Not injured.

Not wounded.

Just… gone.

Erased.

---

Silence.

---

A noble dropped his goblet.

A general fell to his knees.

One guard whispered, trembling—

"…What… what was that…?"

No one answered.

Because far, far away—

Lira was clapping her hands.

"…Hehe."

She smiled proudly.

"Good throw."

---

By sunset, the Empire had fallen.

Not to war.

Not to rebellion.

Not to strategy.

But to a girl…

…who didn't even know what an empire was.

---

And somewhere in the chaos—

Generals argued.

Nobles panicked.

Armies mobilized.

All asking the same question:

"What kind of monster did this?"

---

Meanwhile, Lira poked another rock.

"…Throw again?"

---

The world would soon learn a terrifying truth.

The girl they would come to fear…

…was still just getting started.
