Suddenly the door pushed open and a hoarse voice came through "Boss…"
Patrick stood at the entrance, stunned.
Madeline glanced at him with a frown. He had become a shadow of himself.
His previously built body was gone, he looked more bones than human.
"What happened?"
Immediately she asked, Patrick couldn't hold his tears and they began to roll down his face. "Boss… please forgive me"
Roco wasn't having any of it. His baby's hard work was almost gone and the culprit stood there with tears.
If it was about tears, he could cry too!
"Forgive you… after you practically ran this place to the ground, no! You won't be forgiven, you'll pay every single dime and…"
"Roco" Madeline cut in. "Can you help me check around the place, so we'll know what to fix"
"You mean what he'll pay for" he scoffed.
"Yes.. yes… what he'll pay for"
Roco scoffed again before heading to the door, nudging Patrick before he stepped out.
