Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Trapped With Him

I struggled against his grip, my heart pounding wildly in my chest.

"Let me go!" I shouted again, trying to pull my hand free.

But his hold only tightened.

"Stop struggling," he said coldly. "You're not going anywhere."

Rain soaked my clothes as he dragged me toward the black car. My feet slipped on the wet road, but he didn't care.

"Please… I didn't do anything," I whispered, my voice shaking.

He suddenly stopped.

For a moment, I thought he might let me go.

But instead, he turned to face me.

Up close, his face was even more terrifying… yet strangely calm. His sharp eyes studied me like I was something he had been searching for.

"You exist," he said quietly. "That's enough."

My breath hitched.

"What… what do you want from me?" I asked.

A faint smile appeared on his lips.

"You."

Before I could react, he opened the car door and pushed me inside.

"No—!" I tried to get out, but the door slammed shut.

Click.

Locked.

My hands trembled as I looked around. The inside of the car was luxurious… soft leather seats, dim lights… everything screamed money.

Who was he?

Why me?

The driver's seat door opened, and he got in calmly, as if nothing unusual had happened.

I quickly moved back, pressing myself against the door.

"Stay away from me!" I warned, though my voice lacked strength.

He glanced at me briefly, completely unfazed.

"If I wanted to hurt you," he said, starting the engine, "I already would have."

The car began to move.

My heart sank.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked.

He didn't answer.

The silence was suffocating.

Tears blurred my vision as I looked outside. The streets I knew were disappearing… replaced by unfamiliar roads.

This was real.

I was being taken away.

Minutes passed before he finally spoke.

"Anaya."

My name again.

I froze.

"H-how do you know me?" I whispered.

He smirked slightly, eyes still on the road.

"I told you," he said.

"I know everything about you."

A chill ran down my spine.

Who was this man?

And why did it feel like my life… was no longer mine?

The car sped into the darkness.

And I realized something terrifying—

This was only the beginning.
