Two days passed.
Outside Reinett Village, a skeleton was locked in battle against a terrifying creature.
The abomination had unnaturally long legs, skinny arms, skin as pale as a corpse, and nails far longer than any normal creature's. Its mouth stretched unnaturally wide, making it look as though it had stepped straight out of a horror movie.
The abomination lashed out ferociously with its elongated claws.
Fred raised his sturdy shield, blocking one claw while deflecting the other.
"Fred's holding out pretty well, isn't he?"
Ryven complimented as he lazily stretched his body, looking rather bored.
Samminah shook her head.
"He's still getting pushed back with every exchange, and he's been forced to remain on the defensive."
"I wouldn't call that doing well."
"Oh, come on. Most level thirteens would have a hard time against an abomination like that."
"If Fred devours more traits, he'll soon become nearly invincible among those at his level."
