Chapter 1: A Normal Day
The classroom was filled with the usual noise.
"Bro Aayur, you brought a puzzle again?" Ganik said, snatching the paper from his hand.
Aayur reacted instantly, "Hey, careful! It's tough, you won't understand it."
"Challenge accepted," Ganik smiled.
Ravik was sitting in the corner, drawing something in his notebook — like he was making a plan.
Rivan was busy coding on his laptop. Lines were running fast across the screen.
"Don't you ever get bored?" Ravik asked.
Without looking up, Rivan replied, "When your mind is busy… you don't get time to feel bored."
Everyone laughed.
On the other side....
Skye and Coral were busy talking.
"Yesterday I watched a documentary about space," Coral said excitedly.
"Again?" Skye teased.
"Just listen… what if a signal comes from outside Earth?"
Skye calmly replied, "Then first we'll understand it… then we'll decide."
Akshvi, sitting beside them, was quiet…
But her eyes kept drifting toward Rivan.
"You're looking at him again," Coral said with a slight smile.
Akshvi quickly turned her face away, "Are you crazy…"
Skye just smiled.
Knock knock.
The door opened.
The teacher walked in… along with a boy.
"Class, this is your new classmate. His name is Kairav."
Kairav gave a soft "Hello" and went straight to an empty seat…
👉 Next to Rivan.
"I'm Rivan," he said casually.
"Kairav," he replied shortly.
Everything was normal…
Just a normal school day.
The bell rang.
All the students started leaving for home.
"Finally, freedom," Ganik said while stretching.
The group was walking out together through the school gate.
Suddenly…
SHHHHHHHHHHHHH…
A strange sound came from the sky.
Everyone stopped.
"What is that?" Coral said, looking up.
The very next second—
đź’Ą BOOOOM!
The ground shook violently.
A burning rock crashed down a little distance from the school.
Dust and smoke spread in the air.
"It's a meteor…" Coral said in shock.
Within seconds, the police arrived.
"Everyone step back!" an officer shouted.
The area started getting cordoned off.
But Ravik's eyes were fixed on the rock.
"Rivan… look," he said softly.
Rivan focused…
"There's something stuck on it…"
"A note?" Aayur said.
It was true…
A small paper-like piece was attached to the side of the rock.
"Before the police get there…" Ravik said quietly.
Ganik understood immediately.
"I'll go."
"Fast," Rivan said.
Ganik quietly slipped in from the side…
The heat was still there…
But without thinking, he pulled the note off…
And quickly came back.
"Got it," he said softly.
But as soon as he returned…
They felt like someone was watching them.
They turned back…
👉 Skye, Coral, and Akshvi.
All three had seen everything.
"What were you guys doing?" Skye asked directly.
Ravik went silent for a second.
Aayur looked tense.
Ganik quickly hid the note.
Akshvi's eyes were locked on Rivan.
"Tell the truth."
Rivan stayed quiet for a few seconds…
Then said—
"What you saw… is just the beginning."
The police standing at a distance had no idea…
But here…
The lives of 8 people were about to change forever. 🔥
