Chapter 1 - Awakening

I walked down the the pavement it felt harder than before in my old sneakers it was a agonizing mindless Eight hour shift the only reason I was moving forward was the thought of my dear Dear Mother's cooking I hoped that she had made her lovely Shepherd's Pie

As i turned a cover to my street letting out a heavy sigh.

Then I Felt the sting

It was sharp and icy going deep in my neck like a Sting of a wasp but much worse. My Hand flew to that spot. Before I could even think my knees hit the grounds the glow of the streetlights looked like a Blurry Streak my head hit the concrete Then cold heavy darkness.

I didn't wake up it more felt like I was dragging myself out of quicksand The first thing I noticed was the Silence a deafening unnatural silence. Then came panic I tried to rub my eyes but my arms wouldn't move They were bound tight across my hand thick canvas and Leather straps were digging into my ribs, A straight jacket i thrased around wildly my shoulder hit the walls but it didn't it was a soft thud. It was a padded white wall.

Nothing made Sense in this Accursed room the only leash to reality was the the clack of small slot sliding open at the bottom of the heavy steel door. Periodically a bland meal would be shoved through on a cardboard tray

Eat Sleep Stare at the damn blinding lights on the top of the room cameras tracked every single of my movements from day to night I was nothing but a rat trapped in a sterile white cage I screamed for days until my voice gave out but I wondered is there anyone to even hear the scream but the eyes of the camera.

I didn't know how many days had passed or was it days or hours or months i didn't even know what time it was before the routine broke.

As a faint hiss echoed from the ceiling vents it's companion a sweet smelling gas. I tried my best to hold my breath. Fighting the heavy Suffocating pull of sleep. But it was utterly worthless.

When I finally came to the room was gone I was strapped to a cold metal table as the fluorescent light turned on the blinding light made me flinch it felt like daggers stabbing at my eyes. As masked men came around the table. I tried to thrash to struggle to do anything to scream as one of them approached me with a thick gauge syringe.

They didn't hesitate for a single bit. The needle was plunged deep in my neck. The pain wasn't just a sting this time. It was unbearable like I was burning alive my veins felt like they were bursting my pupils had rolled back from the pain as I fell unconscious after a single agonizing scream from my lungs but they awoke me straight back injecting me with more substances each time i fell Unconscious they made me wake up again it was grueling after hours of this pain I was sent back to the room.
