"BAM!"
He could not even finish his incomplete sentence. Siwon pulled her fist back with lightning speed and delivered a brutal, heavy punch straight to his jaw. The force was immense.
Thud!
The massive, heavy thug literally flew backward from the impact, crashing hard onto a wooden table before rolling onto the floor. He was knocked out cold instantly, his eyes rolling back.
The remaining members of the group stumbled back in shock, their eyes widening in absolute horror. They looked at their unconscious leader, then at her. What on earth was that raw, monstrous power?!
Siwon casually pulled out a fine silk handkerchief from her pocket, wiping her knuckles with an indifferent, bored expression.
"Didn't your mothers teach you how to behave properly outside? This is not your father's house—it's a public place, so keep your manners."
"You crazy bitch!" another thug roared, completely losing his mind and sanity as he lunged forward to attack her with a wild swing.
Siwon smoothly stepped aside, effortlessly dodging his sloppy, uncoordinated swing. She grabbed his outstretched arm with perfect technique and twisted it painfully behind his back.
"You completely ruined my peaceful morning mood... and now you're trying to hit me? Damn shit."
Without wasting a single second, Siwon reached out to the table on her left side. She tightly grabbed a heavy ceramic plate and smashed it directly over his head!
CRASH!
The thick plate shattered into a hundred tiny pieces, flying everywhere across the cafe. The second thug fell heavily onto the hard floor, groaning and holding his head in absolute, blinding pain. Before his eyes closed, he collapsed completely unconscious next to his boss.
Seeing both of his friends down, the third remaining boy got furious. He yelled loudly and tried to lunge forward to fight her, but right at that perfect, dramatic time—the loud, wailing sirens of multiple police cars echoed loudly outside the cafe.
Red and blue emergency lights flashed brightly through the large glass windows, illuminating the messy room. Within seconds, Inspector Jang rushed through the front doors of the cafe along with a squad of armed officers. He found two massive men lying completely unconscious on the floor in a pool of coffee and broken plates, while the third thug was still desperately trying to attack Siwon.
Mr. Jang stepped in immediately, pulling his baton out. "Stop right there!" Inspector Jang commanded, stepping directly between them. He turned to his officers, gesturing toward the entire gang. "Officers, arrest the three of them immediately! Use cuffs!"
With the physical threat safely contained, Siwon stood elegantly in the middle of the ruined room. Her posture was straight and completely unbothered by the violence.
Inspector Jang quickly ran up to her, sweat dripping down his neck as he bowed deeply in respect.
"Look at this mess... this is what our new generation becomes nowadays," another junior inspector sighed, looking at the destruction and shaking his head.
Inspector Jang glared at the remaining thugs who were now trembling in the corner as the iron cuffs clicked tightly around their wrists. "Take them to jail immediately! Lock them up!" Inspector Jang ordered his men.
Turning back to Siwon with nervous sweat building up on his forehead, he bowed low again, his voice trembling slightly. "And... I am so incredibly sorry, Ma'am, that you had to go through this terrible experience in our jurisdiction..."
Siwon raised her slender palm slightly, cutting off his frantic apologies with a cold, highly dismissive gesture that brooked no argument.
"There is no need to apologize," Siwon said, her voice dripping with pure ice. "But now I know just how much this chaotic city disturbs me. Whatever affects my mood is my problem, not yours."
She narrowed her eyes into sharp slits, taking a slow step closer to him, towering over the nervous inspector. "However, let's talk about that night. Those two incompetent police officers of yours literally left me alone with a complete stranger, expecting me to drop him off at his place like a chauffeur. I don't know what kind of policing that was. It wasn't my work, and it wasn't my responsibility, yet I did it. And now, look what happened to me today because of coming back to this area..."
She gestured slightly to the large, ugly brown coffee stain ruining the back of her green velvet coat. Inspector Jang's face went completely pale, his heart skipping a beat.
"Ma'am... you don't need to give any further explanations. We will sort this matter out immediately. And as for those two policemen from that night? Leave them entirely to me. I will personally see to it that they are severely punished and dealt with."
As the police officers started rounding up and pushing the remaining thugs out the door, Siwon's sharp gaze accidentally fell upon the dizzy, mumbling drunkard leaning miserably between the wall and the floor. She blinked, her eyes narrowing into sharp slits as a sudden, shocking realization hit her brain.
Wait... this annoying guy... again? Why do I keep running into him?
"Inspector, do you happen to know him?" Inspector Jang asked carefully, noticing her freezing, cold stare fixed tightly on Seo-jun's slumped form.
"No," Siwon answered instantly without a single second of hesitation. Her voice dropped back into total indifference as she elegantly brushed off some dust from her velvet coat. "I don't."
Inspector Jang glanced over at the messy Seo-jun and sighed softly, shaking his head with a look of pity. "Oh, well... he is actually young master Han. He is usually such a good, highly respectable person in high society, but I honestly don't know why he acts like this these days. Maybe he is going through some incredibly heavy personal disturbances, family trauma, or extreme stress."
A cold, mocking smirk played on Siwon's lips as she heard the explanation, turning her back on the chaotic scene completely. She walked out of the cafe with an annoyed, heavy sigh, her expensive heels clicking sharply and loudly against the tiled floor. She didn't want to know his introduction, she didn't care about his real name, and his background meant nothing to her.
Seriously, I don't know who he is, and I don't care if he is disturbed, stressed, or completely losing his mind, she thought bitterly to herself as the fresh air hit her face. But that guy carries trouble with him wherever he goes. He is a walking disaster.
Stopping right before the exit doors, she threw one last freezing, sharp glare over her shoulder at the trembling Inspector Jang.
"And please," Siwon commanded, her voice slicing through the entire room like a guillotine, "take very good care of those bloody, mannerless boys who made my morning worse."
"Y-Yes, Ma'am! Absolutely! Leave it to us!" Inspector Jang saluted nervously, standing at attention.
