Chapter 1 - LOVE AND FIRE

Who says life cannot be understood and explained, when cemeteries full of dead bodies are nature's universities and every person two yards underground is a professor of life?

So why is it that we are born, die but do not live, we have only learned to live time. We have never lived life and when this time runs out, we wonder what was the measure that was used to measure it, as we kept recording profit and loss in the book of time throughout our lives? And is there any formula that can tell us that profit is nothing but profit and loss can only give loss, the truth of which is that when does life give profit? This is a trade of loss, we were very comfortable in nothingness, then at the hands of this life we were transformed into existence and came to this contradictory world, that is, we were put into a test and in a test there is neither hope of profit nor loss. But it is surprising that we still kept compiling a list of losses.

Life would have passed as it was meant to be... At least there would have been time to leave, maybe if we had closed the account of the losses we had, life would have become a little easier. But we don't understand and time is running out. Sometimes it's someone else's, sometimes it's ours... This game has been played for centuries. We come... we make the straight paths complicated for ourselves and say this and leave.

Looking back now, it wasn't such a big deal.

This is a complicated journey of days and nights, months and years.

It could have been a little easier.

If we walk carefully, that house

Whose door and roof are in ruins

Which has surprises hidden in every corner.

Who has worries about evenings every morning

We could have settled in China.

Now that I see it, it looks very clear.

All the scenes, even the background

But what will be the reward for this long-awaited fantasy?

What was meant to happen has happened.

The lines kept cutting, due to word changes.

These are just a few incomplete sketches of the life I have lived.

Maleeha Farooqui May 26, 1977

She was searching for a familiar face among the strange faces, holding a bouquet in her hand.

Someone called his name.

"!..tanya"

She turned and waved her hand excitedly, looking in the direction of the voice.

"Faiza...!" The two took steps towards each other and as they got closer,

They hugged

"Congratulations on your brother's engagement," Altania said as she parted ways. "Thank you," Faiza smiled and accepted the congratulations.

"Let me introduce you to my future sister-in-law." Then, holding Nia's hand, she climbed onto the stairs.

Tanya tried to introduce Faiza's brother to the well-groomed and somewhat shy girl sitting next to him, and then after exchanging a few sentences, Faiza's

She immediately got off the stage.

"I can't see your mommy."

"She was here too," Faiza said, looking around, then took Tanya.

Moved forward

"Listen..!" Tanya addressed him, who stopped as he walked to check on the guests.

Was also exploring

"Yes," Faiza said, looking at him.

"He didn't come?"

"Who...? Who are you talking about?" she said, suppressing a smile and looking surprised.

"Your cousin's Tanya said seriously. Faiza is in a constant mischievous mood."

All my cousins are here," Faiza's lament was at its peak.

"I'm asking about Shayan," Tanya finally said angrily.

"Okay, then say it like this," Tanya said as he spoke.

Why are you beating me? ... The bus will come. Anyway, his police training is over.

"Yes, the posting orders haven't come yet, and what better way to keep such a free man busy than throwing a party?"

As soon as she finished speaking, she stepped back, and in support of Tanya Shayan, she was slapped and kicked.

of. Tanya stared at him but then asked, ignoring the intention.

"Tell me one thing."

Ask, "Seeing the situation under control, Faiza stood up to him. How is Shayan your cousin?"

"Actually, my mom is Shayan's mother's cousin."

"Good," Tanya nodded, looking ahead and seeing him dressed in a dinner suit.

Shayan's tall figure fell on him. He grabbed Faiza and shook her, "Shayan has arrived."

"Thank you. Otherwise you would have killed me."

Bokumat Tanya scolded Shayan, who was coming straight towards her, "What's going on?" He came closer and said.

Tanya Mir is going to push me forward in joy of your arrival," Faiza said helplessly. Shayan first saw her figure and then Tanya's, who had both her hands on Faiza's shoulders from behind. Tanya, frowning, removed her hands and pushed him hard.

She spoke by giving

"get over it"

"

Yes, I am. It is also your own loss to become a bone for kebabs like you. And yes," she said as she left, "I am bringing Mami from here in the name of Hulnamat." As she left, Shayan suppressed a smile and asked

"Were you really hitting him?"

"Don't talk nonsense," Tanya said with a bad face. "You don't know, he's acting."

How fond of "

"Tanya!" After a moment of silence, Shayan called out to her, and she raised her head and looked at him. "Can I say something?"

"Say," she said, pushing her shoulder-length hair away from her face and addressing him seriously. He smiled softly and said,

"This is the first time I'm seeing you in such a well-groomed look. You look good," she puzzled. She really used to live in a cocoon for a long time. Very careless on her part. But today, unlike usual, she was wearing a light amber colored chiffon shalwar kameez.

I put a dupatta on my shoulders, put on light makeup, and wore matching jewelry.

It looked different

And today, her hair was flowing freely on her shoulders, free from the bondage of the band. Although she had only been slightly amused by Shayan's somewhat direct sentence, she was still happy.

After laughing so hard, Nia looked in his direction with sadness.

"Is that what you meant?" she said immediately.

"It's another thing to say no, but I thought I'd give you a little compliment. I've heard that girls like being praised. Then, whatever is said to them, they immediately agree."

"What do you want to convince?" he asked, assuming Shayan's words. Before saying anything, he remained silent for a moment, as if composing his words. Then

He started speaking slowly.

Tania! I don't know when I started thinking this way, but it's been in my heart for a long time. I just never said it. I thought it was the right time.

"I'll tell you when I come." A few moments passed in silence. "I don't know if the time is right or not, but I can't wait any longer," he said at the end of his speech.

She looked at Shayan, who was looking at her for a moment. Shayan's serious tone, his enchanting words, and the intensity of his eyes. Tania felt that Shayan would say everything she had been longing to hear for three years.

"Tania! I'm with you."

"Excuse me, please," Faiza's sharp voice broke the spell, and they both turned in shock to the man who was holding the hand of the slightly heavy but graceful man.

It had been coming towards them from afar.

"We are all busy, but look, I have brought Papa." She stopped near him while speaking, then started introducing herself.

Tania! Meet him. This is my father." Then pointing to Tania, he said, "And father..! This is my, this is my best friend Tania Farooqui, the daughter of the most eligible businessman Noorul Huda Farooqui. We were both in MBA classes together." Faiza's story

But he was badly shocked

"Are you Noorul Huda's daughter?"

"C"

Noorul Huda Farooqui was a famous personality and people would often ask this question when Tania mentioned him, so Tania did not take any special notice.

"Do you know my father?"

"No, who doesn't know?" Now he was speaking calmly.

His interview published in Leading Industrialist of Medicine and Last Week Business Magazine was amazing. He is an inspiration to many.

"Well, you've completed your MBA, what are you doing now?"

She was naturally happy at her father's praise. In response to his words, she smiled and said,

"I have joined Papa's office."

"Gur" he said happily.

"Oh son! I have to give time to some other guests too. You guys enjoy yourselves." He left with an incomprehensible smile, and Tania suddenly thought of Shayan. She turned around but no one was there. She quickly looked around but Shayan was nowhere to be seen.

"What's the matter?" Faiza asked, finding him searching for something.

"Shayan was here just now. Where did he go?"

"Oh yes. Where did it suddenly disappear to?"

Tania, ignoring his words, came to the gate in search of Shayan, and saw Shayan leaving the hall.

"Shayan! Listen to me," she called out spontaneously, but Shayan pretended not to hear and walked out.

He left. Tania followed him, but when she came out, Shayan had already left on his bike.

The thought of him leaving without saying anything bothered Tania. She stood there motionless in the darkness for a long time.

She had been trying to call Shayan's mobile for a while, but the phone on the other end was switched off.

"Come in," he said loudly and desperately upon hearing the knock on the door, and dialed the number on his mobile again.

"Yes, Mama!" Opening the door and seeing her mama come in, she put down her mobile phone.

"I have sent Khadija to call you twice. Come and eat, Tania!" he scolded her.

"You go. I'll be back in a little while." She was getting tired. Why did Shayan turn off his mobile?

"You've been glued to the phone since you came home from the office. Who are you calling?"

"To a friend, an idiot who has kept his mobile switched off for the past few days and I am an even bigger idiot who is trying his number over and over again," Tania said without taking her eyes off the mobile and started dialing the number again when Mama stepped forward and took the mobile from her hand and placed it on the side table.

"The phone call can be made later. Now come on, your father is waiting."

"Is Dad here?" She got up, placing the pillow in her lap on the bed.

"Yes. And you come down in five minutes. Otherwise I'll send your father." She said threateningly and left the room, so Tania also quickly covered her mouth with her hands.

She washed her hair and put it in a clip, then came down to the dining room and dragged a chair to sit down.

He said to Noorul Huda

"What's up, Papa! You're only home at nine today."

"That's it, son! The clock has betrayed me. Otherwise, I would have come home just after twelve o'clock. Maybe it's stuck."

When Tania asked in a mischievous manner, he spoke seriously and finally started tapping the watch tied to his wrist with his finger as if the watch was really stuck. Maryam understood his joke and spoke sadly.

"Why? Is it forbidden to come home before twelve o'clock?" Tania asked, laughing happily.

Dum put her hand over her mouth to suppress her laughter and looked at Noorul Huda in a happy manner, who spoke with the same seriousness as before.

"No. But there is no ban on coming after twelve o'clock," Maryam said loudly, her voice cracking.

"The brave water has not yet reached the table."

Papa, the only thing you can do now is to shut up and eat, otherwise you will be scolded by Mama.

"There could be a huge scolding."

"The advice is very good, Tania, but the thing is, your mama likes to scold me and I like to hear her scold me."
