Chapter 1 - Gopal’s Hot Burnt Trick

One summer afternoon, the court of the king was buzzing with activity. The heat was intense, and everyone seemed tired and restless. Among them stood Gopal, the king's favorite jester, known for his clever wit and humorous tricks.

That day, the king was in a playful mood. He looked at Gopal and said,

"Gopal, can you do something interesting today? I am bored of the usual jokes."

Gopal smiled and replied, "Your Majesty, give me a little time, and I will show you something unforgettable."

The king agreed, curious to see what Gopal had in mind.

After a while, Gopal brought a large plate of freshly fried, steaming hot fritters. They were so hot that steam was rising from them. Gopal placed the plate in front of the king and said,

"Your Majesty, please enjoy these delicious snacks. But be careful—they are very hot."

The king, eager to taste them, picked one up quickly. But as soon as he touched it, he felt the burning heat and dropped it immediately. The courtiers began to laugh softly.

The king looked at Gopal and said, "Gopal, are you trying to trick me? These are too hot to eat!"

Gopal bowed respectfully and said, "Your Majesty, sometimes in life, things look tempting and delicious from a distance. But when we rush without patience, we may end up getting hurt."

The king paused and then smiled, understanding the deeper meaning behind Gopal's act.

One of the ministers, still amused, asked, "But Gopal, what about you? Can you eat it?"

Without hesitation, Gopal took one fritter and started blowing on it slowly. He waited patiently, cooling it down bit by bit. Then he took a small bite and said,

"See, with patience and wisdom, even the hottest problems can be handled easily."

The entire court burst into laughter and applause. The king was delighted and said,

"Gopal, once again you have taught us a valuable lesson in such a simple way!"

From that day on, the story of Gopal's "hot burnt trick" spread across the kingdom, reminding everyone that patience and clever thinking can solve even the toughest situations.
