Chapter 4: Server-Wide First Kill Announcement
After Pei Hening slowly finished her breakfast, she went to open the two wooden boxes by the roadside.
"Congratulations to player [Di Bi Di Bi] for obtaining Iron Shard*4, Milk*2, Gasoline*1."
"Congratulations to player [Di Bi Di Bi] for obtaining Wood*3, Gear*1, Mineral Water 550ml*1."
"One empty wooden box can be broken down into Wooden Plank*2. Would you like to break it down?"
Just after she finished looking at the materials inside the boxes, she saw this special prompt.
She thought of the boxes she had opened during the closed beta, clicked on her inventory, and saw that all seven slots were filled.
Empty Silver Box 64, Empty Gold Box 99, Empty Gold Box 19, Gold Box 99, Gold Box 26, Empty Diamond Box 69, Diamond Box 97.
The empty ones were boxes that had already been opened; the others were collected but unopened.
Just as she was about to break down the wooden boxes and turn the contents into cards to put into her card album, a bold, golden message appeared in the center of the Light Screen, and a mechanical female voice cheerfully announced it.
"Server-Wide Announcement: Player [Ning Ning Little Princess] has completed the Server-Wide First Kill. This is hereby announced!"
Pei Hening glanced at the time: 6:01:15.
The server just opened one minute and fifteen seconds ago? And someone already completed the first kill?
Everyone in the chat channel was still in a state of confusion, and once this Server-Wide Announcement appeared, the chat channelbecame even more active.
"Who is this person? How did they get a Server-Wide Announcement?"
"It's only been one minute since the start, right? What did they kill for the first kill?"

It was Chu Xuange.
He was wearing a black Tracksuit, his hair was messy and fragmented, and his handsome face was dotted with bloodstains. He raised his hand to wipe the bloodstains away with his fingertip, looking dangerous and wicked.
Pei Hening curiously leaned closer to the screen and asked, "How can you make a call? That's weird. I couldn't find anywhere to dial a phone."
Chu Xuange twisted open a bottle of mineral water, poured a little out to wash the blood off his hands, and said with a smile, "It's one of the Server-Wide First Kill rewards. Chu Xuange accepted: "I didn't open it; I bought it during the closed beta. Baby, you need to get moving. Finish the Minimum Mileage first, then catch up on sleep. Don't slide off the road; it's very dangerous outside the road. If I find a Docking Prop and a positioning card, you can come and join me."
"I won't hang up the call; otherwise, I won't feel safe."

Pei Hening hummed in acknowledgment.
This road was empty, with only her on it.

When Pei Hening took her Driver's License test, she failed Subject Two five times and crashed a driving school's training car. She failed Subject Three three times and caused one rear-end collision. At the time, the driving school coach even scolded her, saying she was hopeless.
When she finally got her Driver's License, she wasn't happy at all; she just felt liberated.
Chu Xuange laughed, "That's possible. Don't worry too much. Once I find a Docking Prop, I'll pick you up to be with me."
Pei Hening slid forward while searching for Treasure Chests.
Chu Xuange observed Pei Hening for a while, and only felt relieved when he saw that she was relatively adapted.
No wonder she was so miserable when he found her in the previous life; turns out this damn game was targeting her.
Everyone else started with a car, or at least a Bicycle, but his baby got Roller Skates! Just thinking about the upcoming Minimum Mileagemade him want to curse.
He also started looking for and opening Treasure Chests.
His luck was indeed poor; two-thirds of the boxes contained monsters.
Chu Xuange coldly chopped down a Rat Monster.
Pei Hening heard the noise, glanced at the screen, and got goosebumps when she clearly saw the Rat Monster's appearance.
It was terrifying.
The enormous rat weighed at least thirty or forty catties, its eyes glowed faintly green, and its claws shone with a metallic luster. It was obvious it was extraordinarily powerful.
Chu Xuange knew the Rat Monster had scared Pei Hening, so he kicked it off the road.
The Rat Monster was swallowed whole by an ordinary white flower, five or six centimeters tall, on the side of the road, which was as horrifying as a snake swallowing prey.
Pei Hening's scalp tingled. No wonder Chu Xuange said it was dangerous outside the road—wasn't this proof?
