Chapter 7 - Living Without Self

The universe continues endlessly—not because it clings to itself, but because it does not.

It does not act out of self-interest. It does not try to preserve itself at the cost of everything else. And because of this, it remains in harmony.

The Sage follows this principle.

He does not place himself at the center of everything. He does not act purely for personal gain. Instead, he puts others first—and in doing so, he finds that his own needs are naturally fulfilled.

This is a paradox.

By letting go of self-centeredness, you actually gain more.

Not in terms of possessions or recognition, but in terms of peace, respect, and lasting impact.

The more you focus on yourself, the more isolated you become. But the more you contribute to the whole, the more connected you feel.

And in that connection, there is fulfillmen
