In a small village , there was a tiny Eagle named sidhu.Sidhu was not like others birds.He was small,his wings were not very strong ,and he often felt scared .
All the other birds could fly high in the sky .They would travel far and bring back stories of rivers, forests and big mountains.Sidhu always stay close to his nest.
One day a big storm came.The sky turned dark and strong winds began to blow.Trees shook and and branches fell.The birds became worried.
" Let's fly to a big banyan tree, said a crow".It is strong and safe.
All the birds quickly flew away .But sidhu was scared.
"I can't fly that far ",sidhu Said softly.
"You must try"! said his mother ."believe in yourself."
Sidhu looked at the sky.The wind was strong.His heart was beating fast."I am too small",he said.But then he saw a baby bird crying in a nearby nest.The nest was shaking and about to fall.Sidhu forgot his fear."I must help,"he said.He flew to the nest with all his strength.The wind pushed him back,but he did not stop.slowly slowly he reached the nest."Don't be scared,"he told the baby bird.Sidhu helped the baby bird climb onto his back.It was not easy.The wind was very strong.But sidhu tried again and again.Finally he took a deep breath and flew.
The journey was very hard . Many times he almost fell.But he kept thinking ,"I must be brave". After some time he reached banyan tree ,the other birds was surprised."Sidhu! You did it,"they cheered.Sidhu smiled ,he was tired but happy.That day ,sidhu learnt something important:
Being brave does not mean you are not scared .It means you try even when you are scared.
