The next morning, I woke first, even though I'd gone to bed last. Perks of being a spirit element mage, so to speak. Fire element mages have high temperature resistance, while I recover mentally faster. Everyone's got their edges.
I slipped out of bed carefully not to wake the girls, went downstairs, and ordered three breakfasts at the first-floor restaurant. When they brought them, the waitress gave me a very telling look. Guess yesterday's noises carried beyond the room...
Grabbing the tray with three plates of fried noodles and three glasses of soy milk, I returned to the room where the girls were stirring. As I entered, TuTu was stretching, putting her chest on full display, while Jiao Jiao hid under the blanket.
"Oh, you brought breakfast? Mind if we thank you for it?"
TuTu grinned predatorily, licking her lips and not bothering to cover up. It was clear what kind of thanks she meant.
"TuTu! Cover up!"
Jiao Jiao squeaked from under the blanket. Only her eyes peeked out.
"Oh come on, what hasn't he seen? I'll do you one better: after you passed out yesterday, he kept me going for two more hours all over the room! On the windowsill, the armchair, and on the..."
TuTu continued breathlessly listing spots. Her tone made it obvious she loved every bit.
"Shut up! Have some shame!"
came the squeak from under the blanket. When I looked at the shy one, even her eyes vanished.
"Come on, little sister. After what we've been through in life and bed, no room for shyness between us."
TuTu yanked the blanket off the fully blushing Jiao Jiao and started hugging and dominating her. Physical strength wins.
"TuTu, stop teasing her. She doesn't have our experience. You weren't much better during our first intimate exchange."
I came to the shy one's rescue and set the tray on the bedside table.
"Whose side are you on? I'm your girlfriend—you should back me up."
TuTu grinned mischievously, hinting we clarify our current relationships.
"Jiao Jiao, I'll ask anyway, though I know the answer. Do you want to be my girlfriend along with TuTu?"
I asked with maximum sincerity.
"Yes, I do! I've liked you for ages, and I don't mind sharing you."
She raised her voice at first and even tossed off the blanket, but quickly came to her senses, covering up to her neck, and continued in a normal tone.
"Then this is for both of you."
I pulled boxes with spatial rings from my spatial ring.
I'd originally planned to give them as New Year's gifts, but handing them out with the totem vessels felt like an afterthought, devaluing them. But look, they came in handy another way.
"So pretty!"
The girls' eyes lit up as they each grabbed one. Luckily, these gifts were identical.
"I picked ones that could unite you both—plant-themed. They're spatial artifacts, so no more moral right to use my ring for hauling stuff."
I smiled.
"I hope these are engagement rings?"
TuTu shot me a sly smile.
"You can consider them that. I don't start relationships unless I plan to see them through. Only, I was gonna find flashier ones for actual engagement rings."
I looked seriously at both girls.
"No need for others. This ring is both pretty and useful. Plus, it's your first gift to me as your girlfriend."
Jiao Jiao smiled happily, stroking the ring on her ring finger.
"Alright, since we've cleared up that I'm not ditching either of you, I'll now perform the body enhancement procedure for Jiao Jiao, then you head to the arena. We've still got a month and a half planned here."
I informed the girls and summoned Pikachu.
While TuTu ate the breakfast I'd brought and watched curiously, I started the well-practiced procedure. Two hours later, Pikachu and I had boosted my second girl's body to Junior Pack Chieftain level. After a shower, she had to eat cold noodles. Should've fed her first...
Over the next month and a half, the girls and I bonded not just as friends, but as lovers and future spouses. Steamy threesome nights became the norm, and Jiao Jiao no longer shied from baring herself. Though sometimes they requested solo sessions, and I happily obliged.
In that time, the girls honed their anti-human combat skills perfectly. TuTu no longer needed arena-wide attacks to win; she could dominate with precise moves. Given Silver Grass's energy efficiency, draining her was now a real challenge.
Jiao Jiao kept pace, and by the end, she could beat top Mid-level mages with Seeds in both elements—guys who'd fought on the arena during those months, thanks to my deal with Lai Chansin for matched opponents.
Though originally, he hadn't expected to need such strong mages. But he had no complaints. My girls' beauty and power were city-famous, drawing crowds to their fights—especially against top mages. So he profited too.
Naturally, I gave my second girl a Silver Grass seed instead of the long-ago gifted Bo Chok vines. Unlike elemental Seeds, plant seeds were just samples embedded in the mage's plant element for replication, easily replaceable.
At High level, you could even store and combine multiple plants in your element. I can already picture the headache picking custom combos for each girl. Their later combat styles will differ wildly.
TuTu will specialize in supporting her future summons—like the Fiery Hetera and whatever else I pick. So her plants must suit those monsters' traits. Basic ones won't help the Fiery Hetera; she'll just burn them.
Jiao Jiao will focus on speed combat and scouting. With her totem vessel boost, it'd be blasphemy to go otherwise. Like imagining Zhao Manyan as a support mage instead of defense. Impossible.
I also finally got Master Pin's artifact wings for the girls, though for my second girl, they'll soon be obsolete thanks to spell equivalents. Still, situations vary, and if "Wind Wings" can't be used, artifact wings could save her.
I also bought them spirit-protection artifacts, but not from Master Pin—he couldn't make those. So I scoured regular auctions open to anyone for top-quality ones. Lin Lin helped, used to my history questions.
Master Pin made the wings identical, like the other artifacts. They had mechanical frames, with feathers from the rarest ultra-pure, high-concentration wind crystals. Their flight speed matched a Junior Warlord from strong avian families—like a Silver Wing lord at the same rank.
The spirit-protection artifacts were earrings for TuTu and a necklace for Jiao Jiao. Couldn't match them physically—one pair of earrings per person, and my second girl already had hers. Plus, a necklace next to the Phoenix pendant would've been awkward.
I picked red earrings for TuTu to match her totem vessel. Simple silver balls with crimson rubies at the ends. Subtle and elegant—perfect for daily wear.
Jiao Jiao's necklace was a blooming emerald flower. The chain was a gold plant stem studded with diamonds. Wanted something less flashy, but options were scarce on regular auctions.
Both artifacts could tank a dozen Mid-level spirit attacks boosted by the third spiritual boundary. Reliable. They'd already saved them a couple times on the arena against curse and spirit mages. Good buys.
Well, though this sinful city gave us tons of great memories and kicked off our family life, it's time to leave. We need to head back to Shanghai for another cultivation session in the Three-Step Tower!
