Episode 2: The Pirate Protector
Morning arrives in a peaceful village.
Several kids are playing together.
Riven: "One day I'm going to become very strong and travel around the whole world!"
Kael laughs.
Kael: "That's not easy, you idiot."
Other kids laugh too.
Suddenly, a pirate ship arrives near the village.
The kids run excitedly to see it.
A tall man steps off the ship.
Riven runs toward him.
Riven: "Hey! How was your journey?"
Draven smiles slightly.
Draven: "It was good."
Riven: "Take us with you! We want to travel too!"
Draven shakes his head.
Draven: "You're still kids. You don't even know how to fight."
Riven: "Then train me!"
Draven looks at him carefully.
Draven: "Your dark energy is still very low."
Kael steps forward.
Kael: "What about mine?"
Draven observes him for a moment.
Draven: "Your energy is higher than the others. You should protect your friends."
Nearby, a mysterious girl watches everything.
Liora: "Who is that man?"
A villager answers her.
Villager: "That is Draven. He is ranked in the Top 20 strongest fighters in the world. He is number six."
Liora looks surprised.
Liora: "Then... why is he here?"
Villager: "Because this village is his territory."
Liora: "Territory? Is he a bad person?"
Villager quickly shakes his head.
Villager: "No. The Top 20 protect certain areas. In return, the people provide them food, clothes, and dark energy weapons."
Liora looks thoughtful.
She realizes this world is far more dangerous than she imagined.
