Chapter 1 - THE VAULT

Ashoka Vault was running like any other day.

Employees moved through the corridors, busy with their routine work, unaware that within minutes, something would happen that could change the fate of the entire nation.

Two black vans pulled up in front of the building.

One stopped at the main entrance.

The other quietly turned toward the parking route.

Inside the first van, five people sat in silence, dressed in formal suits. Their eyes met, one after another—no words, just understanding.

Then the girl spoke.

"Let's go. We have to do this."

The doors opened.

All five stepped out and walked toward the Ashoka Vault.

Security checks were in progress at the entrance.

One by one, they were scanned and cleared.

No suspicion.

No delay.

They walked inside.

As soon as they entered the building, they split.

The girl moved toward the back gate, accompanied by a heavily built man.

Without looking at him, she asked,

"Rook, everything in place?"

Rook replied in a deep, steady voice,

"Yes, Queen."

By the time they reached the back gate, three more members had joined them.

They had all entered through different routes, but the destination was the same.

Meanwhile, the second van arrived.

Two men stepped out and began unloading several boxes and crates.

Rook glanced at one of them and said,

"Hey, kid. Hand over the weapons."

The boy paused and replied,

"Don't you remember what Leader said? We use code names."

Rook clicked his tongue, irritated.

"Yeah, yeah… just give me the weapons, King."

Queen turned toward the others.

"Owl, move all the boxes near the washroom inside."

Then her eyes shifted to a lean man.

"Knight, take position with the sniper."

Next, she looked at a man in his mid-thirties.

"Bishop, you're with me."

Then, to King:

"Bring Rook and Castle. Meet me at the main gate."

Finally, she looked at Owl again, her voice firm.

"Stay near the windows. Keep observing. Inform me if anything goes wrong."

Within minutes, they moved toward the main gate.

And then—

Chaos erupted.

Screams echoed through the building.

People panicked, running in every direction.

Queen stepped forward, holding an AK-47, pointing it at the crowd.

"Sit down! Everyone!"

Her voice cut through the noise.

"Say a word and I'll empty the entire magazine."

Silence followed. Fear took over.

At the main gate, a police officer began approaching.

King raised his voice, controlled but urgent.

"Fire—but no killing. Just scare them."

But before anyone could react—

Rook opened fire.

A bullet struck the officer.

Everything froze for a second.

Then—

"Shit," King muttered, rushing to close the gate.

But before it could shut completely—

Rook pulled out a grenade and threw it outside.

The gate slammed shut.

A massive explosion echoed from the other side.

Dust. Smoke. Silence.

King turned toward Rook, anger burning in his eyes.

"What the hell have you done… you motherfucker?"
