Legend has it that a god once walked among earthens. They (for the god was neither male nor female) were fair and ruled justly, with immense power to make hail rain and the sea to raise a torrential wall. But power left unchecked turns corrupt. Darkness reigned and death feasted during the time rightfully named The Purge.
Until six brave humans arose.
They went to the depths of the earth, and stole power. The six combined plus the one battled Arkaaz but couldn't defeat the god, so they each took a fragment of them, to hide away and for hundreds of years, peace reigned, the brave six reproduced, offsprings carrying power like their parents.
The story is now used for bedtime, told to scare naughty children. Until one day. A girl stumbled upon a golden well, whose rope, bucket and stones were made of pure gold. One of the fragments of Arkaaz, festered in malice and madness, it sucked her in.
And so the story begins.
