Jennie was in Washroom. She was cleaning a curry stain from her skirt. When she was about to leave washroom, She heard a chill and familiar voice.
"What do you think about yourself?"
Jennie turned back and saw, it was Kate, wearing a gray skirt, a obsidian blazer with white shirt just like Jennie and a high ponytail.
"What do you mean?" Jennie asked her back.
"Do you think yourself as a bird who can fly high, Jennie?!"
"Bird .. I can't understand what you are talking about, I don't know you properly."
"You don't need to know me. You just need to know that 'stay away from him'."
"What..?"
Kate did not answer Jennie's question, She just pushed her shoulder lightly to make her way and went out. Sira was waiting for Jennie outside the washroom. When Jennie came out, her eyes were still on the Kate.
Sira shook Jennie and asked, "what happened?"
Jenny told her everything.
"Oh, that's the matter. come with me I'll explain you everything which I get to know by Sam."

At the school ground,
" Students you all know today we are here for the annual fitness test of yours. I hope you all will give your best." An instructor explained about the fitness test that held every year at the start of session to check their fitness and include some students into sports.
Sira, Jennie and Sam were near a bench where they were fixing their shoe laces and Sira started to explain Jennie about kate's behaviour.
"You already know about kate's upright behaviour which we saw in the class."
Jennie nodded.
"and about the incident today, it was because Of Aaron."
" Aaron?"
"Yes, Jennie I know Kate from 10th grade. Aaron is Kate's crush, so whenever any girl approach him She just start to do drama and sometimes fight, which I secretly enjoy. 'Fight between two girls over a boy'. Sam exclaimed with full joy.
"But I didn't approached him. He wanted to join us."
"That's the problem, Jennie. It was first time that Aaron approached a girl. He wanted to become your friend, which was not liked by Kate."
"She should go to Aaron and ask him about that. Why she is irritating me!"
" Who is irritating you!? " Aaron asked Jennie from behind and joined their conversation seeing them together.
Sira replied, "It's nice that you also came Aaron, Now tell Jennie what is going on between you and kate."
"Kate! , She is just my classmate like others. There is nothing between me and her."
"Ok, Aaron, But I think she wants to do ruckus with me."
" Then show your dark Jennie. I believe in you, I really wanna see My bestie to make kate a little pig." Sira cheered.
" I will also support you." Aaron looks at Jennie with a calm assurance.
four of them looked at kate with sinister smile.

" Why did I feel like someone is cursing me". Kate murmured to herself while talking with her friends standing at the little distance from Jennie's group.

Time passed and four of them get to know each other more precisely and spent most of the time together. Between that Aaron got to know about Jennie's mother case and Her hostile behaviour towards Mrs. Smith.
" If you don't mind, I want to ask you something." Aaron asked to Jennie when they both were in library.
Sira and Sam used to stay far away from library after the first day incident.
" What do you want to ask?"
" About your... mother."
" My mother had died 12 years ago. " Jennie was expressionless.
"I want to ask about Mrs. Smith,"
There was a pause between them for some second, then in heavy voice she answered.
"She is not my mother."
"Can I ask why?"
"What's there to ask,she is just a second women who married to my father. She is my father's wife but not My mother."
"She is also your mother, just like aunt Alice [Jennie's biological mother]."
" How can you say, She is my mother?."
"Not only me, Everyone says that she is your mother. why don't you think it like that way?"
"Because She don't deserve to be a mother."
" And why do you think so?"
" Because I heard her talking to my father. Actually.. quarrel.
She said she doesn't want a child."
" Did you ever asked her why she doesn't want a child."
" No! but what's there to ask. It's clear that she doesn't like children that's why she doesn't want."
" You are saying that she doesn't like children. It means she doesn't like you too."
" Of course."
" So, She would have scolded you or beaten you."
"No...She never."
"But you said, She doesn't like children so it's normal that she would have beaten you."
Jennie was at lost of words.
"Jennie, I think you should talk to her. You should hear story of her side. You can't make opinion on yourself only. "
" but!"
" No buts .! I am your friend. Am I?"
" Yes"
" Then please listen to your this friend, have a calm and polite conversation with your mother. Clear all the misunderstandings.
and if you don't, then don't talk to me again, because I don't also like girls who fight with their mother."
"I will. please don't say that."
"Then today, Go and talk to her but after that if you still find hard to catch up with her, I won't mind. you can live as your wish"
Jennie doesn't want to talk to Mrs.Smith but she also doesn't want that Aaron stop talking to her. By now Aaron and Jennie had grew close. They had started to see other as their potential partners and Jennie can't loose him.
