Maisie
"Eggs, cherie?" Quinlan asked, taking the plates from Soren and I caught a glimpse of the spiced omelettes and perfectly toasted bacons.
My stomach grumbled, but I kept my glare as I said, "Shove it where the sun don't shine."
He chuckled and set the plate down in front of me anyway, nodding towards Jericho, who I was currently using as my seater. He was the only one I wasn't pissed at.
"You can't stay pissed forever, malyshka," Jericho said, drawing the plate of toasted bread closer for me.
"I was screaming," I repeated for the hundredth time, fuming. "They were right outside and did nothing! They just let him leave me like that, looking like a complete idiot! And they were laughing at me!"
The aroma of toasted meat teased my nostrils as Soren flipped the pan with flourish. "You were moaning loudly. Big difference."
My face flamed and Jericho's chest rumbled behind me with a laugh. "No one asked for your opinion, Captain Shitface."
