NIKOLAJ'S POV.
My eyes widened as Georgia fell against me.
"Georgia!" I held her belly, which was bleeding, and took off my coat. It was a bit too big to tie around her securely, but I wrapped it around her tightly. She coughed, and blood spilled from her mouth, running down her chin.
Her whole face was twisted in pain as she groaned. Her bloodied hand grabbed my white shirt, and she squeezed, trying to hold on.
"I got you… I got you…." I said, still trying to stop the bleeding.
My heart was racing, and cold sweat rolled down my face. Jaime had actually done it. He had dared to shoot Georgia.
"It's… it's not my fault. You made me shoot her," Jaime said in a terrified voice. "You did. You did, Nikolaj. You killed her. You should have just left…"
"Agh…" Georgia groaned.
"I'll call the ambulance. I'll call them. Just let's stop this bleeding. It's too much," I said, terrified, my voice trembling.
