The train to nowhere arrived exactly at midnight.
Arjun had been waiting on the empty platform for hours, clutching a letter with no sender's name. It had simply said: "If you want answers, board the last train." He didn't know what answers he was looking for—but something inside him refused to ignore it.
The train screeched to a halt, its doors sliding open with a hiss. Inside, the lights flickered. There were no passengers—just rows of worn seats and a faint smell of dust and rain. Hesitant, Arjun stepped in.
As the train began to move, the windows darkened, reflecting only his own uneasy face. Suddenly, the speaker crackled.
"Next stop: Memory Lane."
Arjun frowned. That wasn't a real place.
At the next stop, the doors opened to a scene from his childhood—his old home, his mother calling his name. His heart pounded. He stepped out, but something felt… wrong. The sky was too still. The voices echoed unnaturally.
"You shouldn't be here," a voice whispered behind him.
He turned sharply—but no one was there.
Panicking, he rushed back into the train just as the doors slammed shut. The speaker crackled again.
"Final stop: The Truth."
Arjun's hands trembled. He looked down at the letter again—but this time, new words had appeared:
"You were never meant to return."
The train lights went out.
And in the darkness, someone—or something— satellite behind him
