Elias realizes that while he cannot speak, he can influence electronics. He spends the night huddled by Clara's phone. Every time she reaches for it, he pulses his energy, causing the screen to flicker with old photos of them—the real photos, where they were happy. Clara begins to suspect. She looks at the "husband" downstairs and notices he doesn't know the password to her laptop. The imposter smiles, claiming he "just forgot."
