In a small village near the river, there lived a poor boy named Arman. His house was made of mud and broken bamboo. When rain came, water dropped from the roof, and in winter cold wind entered from every side. But Arman never complained. He always smiled, even when he was hungry.
Arman's father had died when he was very young. His mother worked in other people's houses to earn money. Some days they had food, some days they did not. Still, his mother always said,
"Son, we are poor in money, but we must not be poor in heart."
Arman went to school wearing old clothes. Other boys laughed at him.
"Look at him! Poor boy!" they said.
Arman stayed quiet and kept studying.
Every day after school, he worked in a tea shop to help his mother. The shop owner was strict and often shouted at him.
"You are slow! Work faster!"
Arman's hands became hard, his feet tired, but his dream was strong.
He wanted to become rich one day.
Not only rich in money…
Rich enough so his mother would never cry again.
One night, Arman looked at the sky and said,
"Allah, give me one chance… I will change my life."
He did not know…
That chance was coming very soon.
