Brishti loved the sound of rain against the glass windows of 'The Blue Corner' cafe where she worked part-time. One rainy Tuesday, while cleaning a corner table, she found a small, crumpled yellow post-it note stuck under a coffee mug.
It simply said: "I hope your day is as beautiful as the rain outside. Don't forget to smile."
There was no name. Brishti looked around, but the cafe was nearly empty. She felt a strange warmth in her heart and, on a whim, she wrote back on the same note: "The rain is beautiful, and so is your thought. Thank you." She left it exactly where she found it.
