Chapter 173 - Chapter 173: Transforming Amidst the Flames, Shocking Human Torch for a Hundred Years

The moment the dozen or so heroes from the Avengers and the Fantastic Four made their entrance.

The previously laughing and joking Spider Army instantly fell deathly silent.

The gazes of all the Spider-Men, as if equipped with automatic navigation, locked onto the Spider-Man who had previously said, "Unless he can call over the entire Avengers."

Kid, your mouth must be blessed by the gods!

That Little Spider stared blankly at the group of superheroes descending from the sky, his entire body going numb.

No way, Sir!

I was just saying it casually!

How did you guys actually show up!

"Cough, cough..."

Stared at by hundreds of pairs of eyes, that Little Spider could only awkwardly whistle and look up at the sky:

"Ahahaha, well... the weather is really nice today, huh~"

The Little Spiders rolled their eyes in unison, then turned back to look at the group of superheroes before them, their eyes revealing incredibly complex emotions.

Awe, admiration, worry, nervousness... It couldn't be helped; in the Universes where most of them came from, the Avengers and the Fantastic Four were the pillars protecting Earth, existences that street-level heroes like them could only look up to.

Before joining the Spider Alliance, the biggest dream of many Little Spiders was to receive an invitation from the Avengers or the Fantastic Four.

This "unrequited love" or "simp" mentality was almost engraved in their bones.

It was like a rookie actor entering a film set and immediately having to face top-tier actresses like Mio Ishikawa, Rei Kamiki, or Saika Kawakita.

To say they weren't panicking would be an absolute lie!

In the past, they probably would have scrambled to explain themselves, trying to clear up any misunderstanding.

But now, the situation was clearly different.

Even facing these "idols" they usually only looked up to, the Little Spiders did not act rashly.

Instead, as if by prior agreement, they all cast their gazes toward the figure at the very front of the group.

The man who had slapped 299 awake and paralyzed thousands of armored vehicles with a single look.

Peter Parker!

This was the absolute authority Peter had invisibly established earlier.

At this moment, in the hearts of these Little Spiders, this "Boss's" prestige had even faintly surpassed those legendary heroes opposite them.

Feeling the trusting gazes behind him, Peter was very satisfied.

Very good, his majesty as a leader had been preliminarily established.

However, compared to that.

What made him even more satisfied was that fellow, Otto Parker.

He really didn't expect this guy to be so sensible, sending him such a shocking gift the moment they met!

His gaze swept unscrupulously back and forth between Thor and the four members of the Fantastic Four. That look was so intense it almost made the superheroes opposite him wonder if this guy had some peculiar preferences.

Asgardian divine genes!

And four sets of superpower genes mutated by cosmic Radiation!

These were all high-quality genes that ranked high in the Marvel Universe!

Peter had been coveting these five abilities for a long time.

Not to mention the Asgardian genes—superhuman divine strength, longevity genes lasting up to 5,000 years, and an extremely high talent for learning magic-side abilities.

If bloodlines were to be ranked, it would undoubtedly belong to the SSR rank.

Although the abilities of the Fantastic Four couldn't compare to Asgardian genes, they each had their own strengths.

Fire, rock, elasticity, invisibility... obtaining these abilities could greatly enrich his combat methods.

Peter had long wanted to make a move on these special genes.

But unfortunately, in his own Universe, it would take at least a month or two before Thor was banished to Earth for his vacation.

As for the Fantastic Four, they simply didn't exist in his Universe, or rather, the versions of them in that Universe hadn't encountered that fortuitous event at all.

Peter had previously thought he was destined to never obtain the Fantastic Four's abilities.

In the end, he never expected this!

Otto Parker had actually personally delivered all these abilities right before his eyes!

Not only could he record the genes of these four people, but he could also provide himself with a wave of sacrifice points later on.

This trip was truly not in vain!

Thinking of this, Peter immediately made up his mind.

It seemed like he had no choice but to play the big villain today!

"Don't want a bloody conflict?" Peter looked at the dozen or so superheroes before him, a defiant smile appearing on his face: "That's easy to say. Break the limbs of this Universe's Peter Parker and hand him over to us, and we'll leave immediately."

This Universe?

Captain America, Tony, Reed, and the others subconsciously frowned upon hearing such keywords, vaguely realizing something wasn't quite right.

But unfortunately, before they could speak, an impulsive fellow in the group jumped out of his own accord.

"Hand Peter over to an alien like you? What right do you have to order us around like that?"

As he spoke, a raging fire erupted from his body, turning him completely into a man of flame.

It was none other than the Human Torch of the Fantastic Four, Jonathan 'Johnny' Storm.

Peter glanced at the number four on the guy's chest, showing no sign of annoyance, and simply spoke nonchalantly:

"The bottom-tier trash of the team has no right to speak to me. Tell your leader to come out and answer."

"You bastard!"

Hearing Peter call him "bottom-tier trash," the Human Torch instantly turned red with rage:

"Our ranking isn't based on strength at all! Every one of us has a 4 on our chest!"

"Flame on!"

With his signature shout, the flames on Johnny's body exploded.

The raging fire caused the surrounding air to distort.

He himself turned into a flying fire meteor, charging straight at Peter!

Boom!

Before he even reached him, the Human Torch opened his hands, and two pillars of fire instantly engulfed Peter.

The terrifyingly high temperature even caused the ground beneath his feet to crystallize.

"Boss~!"

"Leader!"

Exclamations of alarm broke out within the Spider Army.

Some instinctively wanted to pull Peter out, but before they could get close, the terrifying heat ignited their suits, forcing them to retreat.

Everyone looked at Peter, swallowed by the flames, with eyes full of worry.

Although the boss is strong, enduring this level of heat... even a body of steel would be burned to ashes... Only Gwen in the crowd looked calm:

"Don't worry, this level of fire can't do anything to Peter."

As if to validate her words.

A muffled sound suddenly came from within the flames:

"Flame! Please!"

"Hi-Hi, Hi-Hi-Hi!"

Amidst these somewhat inexplicable sounds, a crimson magic circle flashed and vanished within the fire.

Then, activating the Witch Rider suit, Peter in Flame Form flicked his coattails and stepped slowly out of the fire like he was on a catwalk.

Everywhere he passed, the raging flames were absorbed by his body, disappearing without a trace in the blink of an eye.

Seeing this, the Human Torch's eyes almost popped out of his head:

"This... what kind of ghost ability is this?"

And seeing Peter make such a cool and grand entrance, the Little Spiders' eyes once again burst with little stars of admiration, and they couldn't help but cheer:

"Boss is awesome!"
