The episode opens in a dark room with multiple screens playing Daniel's intro video — elite teachers Zavinx and Baelyn are watching. Baelyn is visibly intrigued by the silver-haired "Ghost" myth becoming real; "Who is this new boy?" Zavinx says nothing and changes the screen to Daniel saving the life of his friends just a few days before. Baelyn's jaw dropped. "Very abstract" she says. Zavinx calmly confirms the truth: Daniel is the Ghost, completely human, no borgified organs whatsoever. But sources say he has a disorder called Hyper Sensitivity Emotional Flux. Which is totally bullshit for Zavinx.
Cut to the classroom. Daniel stands in front of the half-dressed class (Rebex, Cleo, Aura, Briana, Arrow) on floating furniture, while Daniel is crushing the trackers below (shown in scene) Daniel: "I'm okay." Rebex: "Thank God." while his tears get dry. Daniel suddenly breaks the glass pane of the classroom and picks the trackers from below and throws it outside the room. Then says: "Ow! That hurts!" his hand bleeding from the glass stabbed his fingers. Aura and Arrow concerned. Daniel: "This glass was fake! Only our classroom has fake glasses why?"
Cleo: "Are you saying there is a mole amonst us?"
Arrow: "Some dude just screamed outside!"
Another classroom window broke by the trackers that Daniel had just thrown away. Baelyn enters the room suddenly looking angry: "Who's Daniel Vossler?"
They all point toward Daniel in a funny way while Daniel is looking up in the corner of the classroom. Towards a CCTV camera?
Baelyn: "How are you kids not scared of him?"
Rebex speaks: "He'll always be the same for us... always... he was our hero-"
While Rebex says this Daniel jumps out of the window. Classmates shocked.
Scene change to Baelyn's office:
Daniel comparing the glasses sitting in a funny way super close to the glass observing it. Baelyn also mimicks him then she says: "The glass does seem different."
Daniel startled from her reflection: "Woah! Who's this beautiful woman!"
Baelyn wide eyes then blush while staring at him. Then she suddenly grabs his shirt from behind and throws him on the ground. Grabs his neck and holds him against the wall.
Baelyn: "You are one hell of a young boy, saving your friends like that...you need to understand that this school has some rules... and you have to follow it okay? I'm your... new owner now. Got it boy?"
Daniel: "Ms. Baelyn... DUCK!"
Baelyn: "A duck?"
Daniel grabs her shoulder and they both fall on the ground. Energy beams pass over their heads destroying the wall.
Baelyn: "Huh!?"
Daniel crying eyes close: "Please protect me... "
Baelyn looks at him and thinks "He just saved my life!.." then pats his head, preparing to go outside and fight the cyborg.
The cyborg's POV outside: "I was 100% aiming to kill Daniel! She wouldn't even have been in the line of range! He fabricated trust."
Cyborg's mind imagines: "He could have just tilted his head, but he chose to drag her along with him to make it look like she was in danger too."
Baelyn picks her dual sided glaive weapon and rushes, breaking her window towards the cyborg.
As Baelyn goes out, back inside the classroom, Daniel hides under a table, curled up and crying like a child — the emotional crash after surviving the assassination attempt.
At rooftop:
The cyborg jumps and dodges her attacks.
"I don't wish to battle you woman. That boy! He belongs to Lord Achlys, return him to us!"
Baelyn: "Then you'll have to go through me!"
The cyborg dodges again and flies away.
Baelyn: "Come back here!"
Baelyn is left furious, venting her rage alone on the rooftop
Cleo now in the yard of the school standing looking at the cyborg going away then he throws a can into a hole perfectly engulfing it, zoom out to see a sign board above the hole saying: "Vossler is alive." zoomed out to see more such sign boards and holes, but those holes are empty. "He was killed by a cyborg" "He was shot by hunters" "He sacrificed his life to save his mom."
"He became a cyborg."
Transition to News Channel of Tony March:
The episode closes with a cold, detached cut to a news channel. Anchor Tony March appears in a sleek holographic studio, delivering a pseudo-profound monologue on the meaning of life over sweeping shots of futuristic skyscrapers, floating islands, factories, and flying vehicles. He poses deep, haunting questions:
"Why do we exist? To suffer? Or to conquer?" "Why do we cry? To feel less pain? Or more pain?" "Why do we hurt others? To understand them? Or to punish them?" "Why do we love others? To break them? Or to elevate them?"
He pauses, then casually dismisses his own questions with a knowing smile and shrug:
"Everyone. We need to stay together and be vigilante in these times of danger regardless of what they define the meaning of life as. Noone can be trusted... no one can be healed with further knife stabbing; we can't take it anymore"
"All hope with the cyborg hunters. Our only hope for humanity. Thank you."
Scene changes to Daniel trying to climb a futuristic building like a spider as he holds the window tightly, clinging on to it, as his right hand extends up, trying to reach a handle. Scene cut.
