The room felt suddenly colder.
Aria stared at the tablet in Kabir's hands, her mind racing.
"He said contract," she repeated slowly. "That's not a word someone would randomly guess."
Kabir nodded grimly. "Exactly."
Rohan stood by the window, looking out at the city skyline, his expression unreadable.
"So someone leaked information," Aria said quietly.
Kabir shook his head. "But that's impossible. Only the three of us know the details."
Aria crossed her arms.
"Well, unless one of you secretly enjoys ruining your own life, that leaves another possibility."
Both men looked at her.
"Someone is spying on us," she finished.
Kabir frowned. "That sounds dramatic."
Aria raised an eyebrow.
"You literally hired a stranger to marry a secret celebrity. Dramatic is already the theme of this story."
Rohan turned away from the window and walked toward them.
"Dev doesn't have proof yet," he said calmly.
Aria looked at him.
"How do you know?"
"If he did," Rohan replied, "he would have exposed everything already."
Kabir nodded slowly.
"He's probably trying to scare us."
Aria wasn't convinced.
She picked up her phone and opened social media again.
The rumors were spreading even faster.
Some people were supporting the couple.
Others were questioning the sudden marriage.
And a few were already calling it a publicity stunt.
"This is getting messy," Aria muttered.
Kabir suddenly looked thoughtful.
"There might be one way to shut everyone up."
Aria groaned.
"I'm afraid to ask."
Kabir smiled slightly.
"A romantic trip."
Aria blinked.
"A what?"
Rohan looked confused too.
Kabir continued, "Couples who just got married usually go on a honeymoon. If you two suddenly disappear together for a few days, the media will think everything is normal."
Aria stared at him.
"You want us to go on a fake honeymoon now?"
Kabir nodded.
"Exactly."
Aria buried her face in her hands.
"This contract is adding new chapters every day."
Rohan looked at her calmly.
"It's not a bad idea."
Aria lifted her head slowly.
"You're agreeing with him?"
"It would keep the media busy," Rohan said.
Aria sighed dramatically.
"Fine. But if we're doing this fake honeymoon thing, I'm choosing the location."
Kabir laughed.
"That's fair."
Just then, Rohan's phone buzzed.
He glanced at the screen.
His expression changed instantly.
Kabir noticed.
"What happened?"
Rohan didn't answer right away.
Instead, he slowly turned the phone toward them.
It was a message from an unknown number.
Attached was a blurry photo.
A photo of their marriage contract.
And beneath it was a single line:
"Six months, right?"
Aria felt her heart stop.
Kabir whispered, "How did they get that…?"
Rohan's voice turned dangerously calm.
"Dev Khanna."
Aria stared at the image again.
The secret that only three people were supposed to know…
was now in someone else's hands.
And if that photo reached the media—
their fake marriage would become the biggest scandal in the country.
