Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Konoha Year 19

"You naturally evil Uchiha brat! I'll deal with you myself!"

"Are you kidding me? It's you Senju who are naturally evil!"

On the Ninja Academy training ground, the two children launched their attacks at the same time while loudly shouting accusations at each other.

Sakagami Tomoya, who was watching from the sidelines, wiped the sweat from his forehead.

What were these two little ancestors saying?

Just listening to them made his scalp tingle.

Originally, he had believed that becoming one of the first teachers to join the Ninja Academy would guarantee him a smooth and successful future. However, after actually joining, Sakagami Tomoya realized that he had been terribly wrong.

Now, he simply hoped he could safely guide these two troublesome geniuses through graduation without any major incidents.

One of them was named Uchiha Su, the future head of the Uchiha Clan—the largest noble family in Konoha. His uncle was none other than the legendary Uchiha Madara.

The other was Tsunade, widely known as the Princess of Konoha. Her grandfather was the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama, while her granduncle was the current Hokage, Senju Tobirama. On top of that, she also had blood ties with the royal family of the Land of Fire.

These two children could practically shake the entire village if something went wrong.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"

Uchiha Su quickly leapt backward to create distance between himself and Tsunade. His hands moved rapidly through a series of hand seals. In the next moment, a massive fireball burst from his mouth, roaring toward Tsunade like a blazing meteor.

Tsunade reacted immediately.

She threw a kunai forward and stomped her foot against the ground, sending gravel and dust flying everywhere.

The kunai shot straight through the blazing fireball.

At that exact moment, Tsunade activated the Body Replacement Technique, instantly swapping places with the kunai and appearing directly in front of Uchiha Su.

"Monster Strength!"

A fierce expression appeared on Tsunade's beautiful face.

Chakra condensed into her seemingly soft fist as she swung it downward with terrifying force.

No one dared to underestimate Tsunade's punch.

Even Sakagami Tomoya, a Chunin-level ninja, knew that if he took that punch directly, he probably wouldn't be able to stand up again.

No one understood where the young princess obtained such monstrous strength. Perhaps it was an inheritance from the First Hokage himself.

However, just before the punch connected—

Her delicate fist stopped inches away from Uchiha Su's cheek.

The pressure created by the punch alone caused his hair to whip wildly in the wind.

"As expected, Tsunade," Uchiha Su said with a helpless shrug. "I'm still no match for you."

"Of course," Tsunade replied proudly as she withdrew her fist. "Right now, no one in the entire Ninja Academy can beat me."

She laughed confidently.

"So you don't have to feel bad about losing."

"That's a little too one-sided, Tsunade," Uchiha Su said calmly.

"At least I think Sakumo Hatake is just as strong as you."

He glanced toward the edge of the training ground, where a white-haired boy was quietly observing the match.

Tsunade followed his gaze and snorted.

"That white-haired guy does have some skills," she admitted. "The Hatake clan's swordsmanship is decent."

She paused briefly before adding dismissively:

"But that's all it is—just decent."

After finishing their sparring session, the two left the center of the training ground and sat near the edge, waiting for the rest of the students to complete their matches.

Today was an important day.

After the practical combat test was completed, the students of this graduating class would finally go their separate ways. They would be divided into different squads and officially become Genin of Konoha.

Uchiha Su stroked his chin thoughtfully.

A strange expression flickered in his eyes.

He felt that the way he had "opened" the world of Naruto was… somewhat wrong.

It was currently Konoha Year 19, only one year away from the outbreak of the First Great Ninja World War.

That alone wasn't the problem.

After all, transmigrating into the Naruto world before the First Great Ninja War meant he would grow up alongside many legendary figures.

The future Sannin, the White Fang of Konoha, Might Duy, and many other powerful ninjas were all part of this same generation.

But the real issue was something else entirely.

In this timeline, Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama were still alive.

The famous Battle of the Valley of the End had never happened.

The entire ninja world was calm and peaceful.

There wasn't even the slightest friction between nations.

Konoha was currently at its absolute peak.

The two men who had ended the chaotic Sengoku Era—Madara and Hashirama—were both alive and living comfortably within the village.

No one in the ninja world was foolish enough to provoke a war under such circumstances.

"So… does this mean I've entered a different timeline of Naruto?"

Uchiha Su couldn't help complaining silently in his mind.

"In this timeline, are the Uchiha and Senju actually one big happy family?"

But that wasn't the only strange thing.

Madara had already been appointed as the Captain of the Konoha Military Police Force by the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama.

However, due to the Uchiha clan's naturally proud temperament and their role in law enforcement, this decision had slowly caused the Uchiha clan to be viewed with hostility and fear by many villagers.

Thinking about all of this made Uchiha Su feel as though his brain was turning into mush.

Where exactly had things gone wrong?

He simply couldn't figure it out.

"What are you thinking about so seriously?"

Tsunade suddenly waved her hand in front of his face.

"Nothing," Uchiha Su replied with a small smile. "I was just wondering whether we'll be assigned to the same squad after we graduate."

"Oh?"

Tsunade tilted her head slightly.

"Do you want to be assigned to the same squad as me?"

She lowered her gaze and watched a group of ants crawling across the ground.

"Of course," Uchiha Su answered casually.

"We've been together since childhood. We studied in the same class at the Ninja Academy. Naturally, it would be best if we were assigned to the same team after graduation."

But in reality, his mind was still occupied with the strange timeline and the mysterious system that had appeared when he transmigrated.

Unfortunately, that system had been completely useless so far.

Since the moment it activated, it had not shown a single useful function.

The only thing he could access was his own status panel.

That was it.

Nothing more.

Was such a system even worthy of being called a system?

Obviously not.

It was simply a disgrace to all systems.

"I'll ask my granduncle tonight," Tsunade said confidently.

"When I go home, I'll ask him to make sure we're assigned to the same squad."

She smiled proudly.

"Then we can see each other every day."

As she spoke, she suddenly noticed something.

Uchiha Su's eyes had glazed over again.

He was clearly lost in his thoughts.

"Bang!"

A loud sound echoed across the training ground.

Uchiha Su suddenly flew backward through the air and slammed hard into a tree stump.

He slid down slowly before landing heavily on the ground.

"Tsunade! Are you crazy?!"

Uchiha Su clutched his stomach in pain.

It felt as if he had just been struck by a speeding truck.

Fortunately, Tsunade had clearly held back her strength.

Otherwise, at least a few of his ribs would have been broken.

However, Tsunade simply ignored him and stormed away angrily.

Seeing this scene, Sakagami Tomoya could only pretend he hadn't noticed anything.

However, his tone became noticeably harsher when instructing the other students during their sparring matches.

"Su-kun, do you need some medicine?"

A gentle voice spoke nearby.

A boy with smooth hair and delicate, almost feminine features approached Uchiha Su. He wore a plain white kimono and carried a small pouch of medicine.

His name was Orochimaru.

He was also one of the most talented students in the class.

"Orochimaru! Thank goodness you're here."

Uchiha Su struggled to his feet and leaned on Orochimaru's shoulder.

"If you hadn't come over, I wouldn't even know what to do."

He sighed in pain.

"Hurry and apply the ointment for me. Tsunade's strength really isn't human."

"I seriously suspect that if she punched me with her full power, I'd be hospitalized for half a month."

Orochimaru gently applied the medicine to the injured area.

"Tsunade's monstrous strength is indeed unusual," he said thoughtfully.

"Could this be a special trait of the Senju Clan?"

He stroked his chin, deep in contemplation.
