Another six hours passed as he woke from his slumber, moving his body, he slowly crawled out of the. Looking at the newly risen sun, he knew that a day had passed.
Slowly moving through the rock formation, he disappeared into the bushes, his body moving with silence as his eyes scanned the surroundings.
Due to his having claimed the area, there were no animals present there, so he continued to move deeper into the forest. He moved toward the south, where there is a somewhat plain area.
According to his memories, a herd of Steel Horned Bulls lives in that area, they are led by a adult Beast rank Steel Horned Bull.
His body moved slowly as he looked toward the pain area; a herd of thirty or so bulls was resting in the area. His eyes scanned the area as he spotted a bull near the edge of the plain.
It was an ordinary rank Adult Steel Horned Bull, and although an ordinary one as the name suggests, there horn are made of material with the properties of steel.
If timed perfectly, even a Beast rank at the juvenile stage will die with a single poke of their horn. These bulls were almost seven to eight feet tall, far larger than the bulls in his last life.
Their leader being a ten-foot or three-meter-tall behemoth, only the Forest Wolf Pack dared to hunt them in large numbers.
Thus, he moved with the utmost caution, his body inched closer to the bull as his poisonous saliva continued to drip.
He started to position his body as he stared at the newly awakened sluggish bull. With a single powerful lunge, he bit into its thigh.
"MOOO!!!"
The Bull cried out in pain as its blood mixed with poison spilled out, and its body reacted as it kicked Nexus with full force.
Using the momentum of the kick, he disappeared into the bushes. Although the kick hurt him, it wasn't something he couldn't heal with a few days' rest.
Activating the stealth, he hid himself, his eyes continued to look at the now chaotic herd.

"MOOO!!"
A mighty moo was heard as their leader stomped on the ground, blasting chunks of ground everywhere. The herd calmed down as the leader made his way toward the injured member.
Looking at the injury, the bull shook its head as it turned its attention toward the bushes. Giving a deep look, it mobilized the herd.
They moved in unison toward the west in the direction of the massive lake, the only source of fresh water in this area.
The injured bull tried to move but was unable to even stand; its blood flowed without stopping as its nervous system slowly deteriorated.
Minutes turned into hours as its body slumped on the ground. It was on its last breath as Nexus slowly walked out of the bushes.
Looking at the bull, he bit its neck, ending its life in an instant. Biting on its leg, he started to drag its body toward his cave.
As he moved through the forest, he noticed a rustling in the bushes; his eyes narrowed as his saliva started to drip. A foul smell started to spread as he waited for any hostile action.
A large porcupine walked out of the bushes as it greeted Nexus with a human-like bow. Nexus understood that it was also an earthling.
"What do you want?!"
Nexus asked with a threatening voice, although it sounded like just a lizard's hiss, the porcupine understood his words.
"Hello, I was wondering if you are a beast of this area or of another area."
"What does that have to do with you?"
Nexus asked as his muscles tightened as if he was about to attack, the porcupine showed a look of dread as it backed down.
"I mean no hostility. I was just wondering if you would like to join the Heavenly Tiger Alliance."
Hearing his words, Nexus calmed down, though he was still ready for attack. In just a single day, a total of one hundred and fifty people had died, and according to the information shared, more than half died at the hands of another earthling.
"I have no interest for now, so scram!"
"Understood, Understood.."
The porcupine said as it disappeared into the bushes, looking at its disappearing figure. Nexus looked in the direction for a moment.
His beastly instinct seems to be suppressing his human mind; although it's good when hunting and fighting, it has its negative side.
Putting that thought aside for now, he gripped the bull's leg as he continued to drag its body. Reaching the cave area, he slowly severed the bull's body into four pieces with his claws.
Dragging the body pieces one by one, he entered his cave and covered the opening with a large rock.
The Bull should be able to sustain its diet for more than a month, after all, unlike the wolf, this bull contains a lot of meat.
Looking at the skulls, he pulled out the two horns and put them in his inventory. Yes, he has an inventory, as for why he didn't put the wolf's body last time. Well, he was so tired he forgot and fell asleep.
He can store up to ten items, and each slot has a maximum weight limit of a hundred kg; the bull weighs around four thousand kg, and he can eat a hundred kg daily.
This is also the reason why he didn't put it in the inventory, as the entire bull is considered as one item.

Looking at the chat, he started to feast. Due to his body, he can eat a large amount of food, and due to the system, he can digest it at a rapid pace.
"In a month, I should be able to become an Adult Beast."
He muttered to himself as he fell asleep, such was the life of a poison lizard.
