Amara couldn't stop thinking about the stranger who was her ex's brother.

The doorbell rang again, and her heart jumped. She opened it to find him standing there, calm and composed, with a folder in his hand.
"I need you to see this," he said.
Amara took the folder, her hands trembling. Inside were documents she didn't fully understand.
"You need to know the truth about last night," he said, his gaze steady.
Amara opened her mouth to protest, but no words came. She felt trapped between fear and curiosity.
