The full moon rose high over Chandrapur. Its silver light cut through the mist, illuminating every corner of the village. Shadows moved unnaturally—stretching, twisting, watching.
Rupa and Sajib stood at the old house, diary in hand.
The villagers gathered reluctantly, carrying memories, photographs, and names whispered into the wind.
The shadow emerged from the darkness, taller and more terrifying than ever.
It howled, a sound that shook the ground.
Rupa stepped forward.
"This ends tonight," she said firmly.
"We remember. We do not hide."
The diary opened on its own, pages fluttering wildly.
"The names return."
