Chapter 2 - Escape

One of them said coldly, "Please don't try to go anywhere. You've already been paid for. Now, you must give your performance to my sir. So stay here."

Hearing this, Tahar froze. A heavy realization struck him—his company must have handed him over to a client who wanted to enjoy him alone.

Resigned, he stopped resisting. With trembling hands and a broken heart, he began to prepare himself for what he thought was inevitable: a night of surrender with a stranger.

Tahar waited the entire night for the mysterious stranger to appear. But no one came.

By morning, his patience had run out. Desperate, he tried once again to escape, but Tarun's manager and the guards blocked his way.

"You can't leave," the manager said firmly.

Tahar's voice trembled with anger. "I was paid for just one night, and the time is over. Your sir didn't come—that's his problem, not mine. So let me go!"

The manager shook his head coldly. "No. You can't leave until my sir arrives."

Tahar tried everything—pleading, reasoning, even threatening—but nothing worked. The guards stood like walls, and the manager's expression didn't change. He was trapped.

With no other option, Tahar returned to his room, pacing anxiously as he searched for a way out. Then he noticed one door at the end of the hallway—locked. Desperate, he forced it open and found a small room inside. To his relief, there was a window wide enough to escape.

Without hesitation, Tahar climbed out and jumped, landing safely outside. Breathless, he ran until he finally reached his own house.

There, Shasha was waiting. Her face was full of worry.

"Where were you last night?" she demanded. "Your elder sister's health became very bad. The doctor called me and told me to contact you, but you didn't pick up. I even came here to your house, but you weren't there either!"

Tahar's heart sank. "How is my sister now? Is she okay?" he asked, panic in his voice.

Shasha sighed in relief. "Don't worry—she's stable now. But where were you? Are you alright?"

Tahar didn't answer. He just took a deep breath, hiding everything that had happened the night before, and hurried to the hospital.

Seeing his sister resting peacefully in the hospital bed, Tahar finally felt a sense of relief. She was the only family he had left, and her safety meant everything to him.

Meanwhile, at the mansion—Tarun had just returned home. When he learned that Tahar had escaped, his anger exploded.

Where is he?" Tarun shouted at his manager. "I told you to take care of him!"

The manager, trembling, lowered his head. "I… I don't know, sir. There were guards everywhere, but somehow he managed to escape."

Tarun clenched his fists, frustration burning in his chest. After a long silence, he finally said coldly, "Go and make me some tea. I'll be arranging a meeting with that company very soon. And listen—find Tahar. I want every detail about him. Where he lives, what he's doing—I want it all."

The manager bowed. "Yes, sir. Don't worry."

When the room fell quiet again, Tarun sank into his chair. His eyes grew distant as old memories of Tahar came flooding back once more.Tarun and Tahar sat together on a bench in the school ground. Tahar was nervously preparing to confess his feelings to Shasha, and the two of them were waiting for her to arrive.
