MOUNTAINSIDE – DAY
Hydrion and
Cydrion CLASH in a monumental face-off, striking each other square in the face.
Neither moves an inch—perfectly equal in strength.
HYDRION
(gritting his
teeth)…
Cydrion swings
again—Hydrion BITES into his shoulder, locking both arms and begins to push him
back.
Cydrion grunts
and PUSHES back harder. Hydrion SINKS his teeth deeper, RIPPING out part of the
metallic shoulder.
HYDRION
(grunting).
He TEARS off
the arm completely. Grabs the other arm, SPINS, and SLAMS Cydrion into the
ground with an echoing boom.
Hydrion ROARS.
Out of
nowhere, a RAIN OF MISSILES rains down on Hydrion—BLASTING him off.
MRS. KELINZA
Where did
those come from?
The missiles
are traced—fired from a SATELLITE in space. More rain down, SEPARATING Hydrion
and Cydrion.
Cydrion
stands—ACTIVATING magnetic fields. His broken arm and shoulder REATTACH with a
mechanical hum.
FLORENCIA
What just
happened?!
MRS. KELINZA
It has a
magnetic core. It reforms its detached parts…
More METAL
SHEETS shoot from the container and latch onto Cydrion, fortifying his armor.
Cydrion begins
CHARGING.
Hydrion
stands—but instantly BLASTED by a LASER from Cydrion's chest core. The beam
PUSHES him through the ground until he SLAMS into a mountain.
His body
charred, he BEGINS TO REGENERATE.
Cydrion RUSHES
and RUNS Hydrion through the mountain. He GRABS Hydrion by the neck, SLAMS his
face against the walls and THROWS him down, kicking up a thick cloud of dust.
Hydrion
retaliates with a FROST LASER to Cydrion's face.
More missiles
are approaching—Hydrion GRABS Cydrion's leg and USES HIM to intercept the
missiles. He FLINGS Cydrion into the remaining barrage.
An ICE SPIKE
rises from the ground—PIERCING through Cydrion's chest. It begins MELTING.
Hydrion LEAPS
from a mountain, SLAMS his fist into Cydrion's back—DRIVING the spike deeper
and damaging one of his three cores.
HYDRION
(roaring)!
Hydrion begins
TEARING Cydrion apart, but suddenly—ARKRION STRIKES! A punch lands square on
Hydrion's face.
Hydrion
tumbles back. Arkrion tries to stomp his chest—Hydrion CATCHES the foot, SWEEPS
him, making Arkrion crash face-first.
Hydrion JUMPS
on Arkrion's back.

Hydrion grabs
Arkrion's neck, ready to RIP out the spine. But Cydrion ROCKETS in using jets,
SLAMMING into Hydrion.
HYDRION
(sarcastic)
Oh great.
Cydrion
CRASHES them through another mountain. Hydrion is buried.
MISSILES
EXPLODE across the rubble.
Cydrion and
Arkrion meet face to face. Cydrion ROARS. Arkrion lowers his head.
ARKRION
You're
submitting to it?
RODAN
It's a small
price to pay…
From the
rubble—GLOWING BLUE LIGHT. A laser BLASTS into the sky and falls back.
Hydrion
emerges—in FULL FROST FORM, smiling as vapor rises from his mouth.
Cydrion ROARS
and CHARGES.
FLORENCIA
Is it ever
going to end?
MRS. KELINZA
It will…
Rodan clenches
his fists but knows he can't match them.
RODAN
What are you
doing?
ARKRION
This isn't
your fight anymore.
Cydrion fires
his thermal laser—Hydrion counters with ICE. The beams collide. Hydrion sees
he's losing and DODGES, CHARGING forward.
He lands a
DEVASTATING UPPERCUT—Cydrion falls. Hydrion freezes his lower body and BEGINS
RIPPING HIM APART.
Cydrion
activates his MAGNETIC FIELD—metal shards pierce Hydrion in return.
Cydrion grabs
Hydrion's arms, STRETCHES him, and BLASTS lasers from his mouth and
chest—ERASING Hydrion's chest and face.
Cydrion pulls
him apart. Hydrion stops regenerating.
MRS. ELY
Did we win?
MRS. IVY
I'm not sure…
INT.
CONSCIOUSNESS – ICE CASTLE
Hydrion and
Leniel find themselves staring at a glowing ICE CASTLE.
LENIEL
Where are we?
What's that?
Descending the
stairs: their frost versions.
FROST HYDRION
Looks like
you're losing—even with our power.
LENIEL
(instinctive)
It keeps
evolving. Getting new parts…
?? HYDRION
(V.O.)

LENIEL

FROST LENIEL
The creepy

(V.O.)

Hydrion turns
back into Leniel, REGENERATING.
Leniel falls
to his knees—COUGHS blood mixed with mercury.
LENIEL

hurts…

You figured it

LENIEL
Yeah…
HYDRION
And they call
me the monster.
Leniel
SCRATCHES his skin, tearing open his body, intentionally not regenerating.
MRS. IVY
(disturbed)

The others
watch—horrified.
FLORENCIA

doing?

Blood mixed
with mercury pours from his wounds.
He STANDS.
Steam releases from his mouth. MUSCLES overlap with mercury, crawling through
his veins and over his skin.
His body
begins to GLOW—covered in STEAM. He turns full Kaiju.
MRS. ELY
Is he…?
MRS. KELINZA
No matter the
situation, he always finds a solution.
NAYOKA
Leniel Silver.
If you're not king, I don't know what is.
Hydrion lets
out a MASSIVE ROAR. Cydrion responds—they roar in sync, then silence.
HEAVY
FOOTSTEPS approach—ARMORED HYDRION steps from the fog.
MS. ELY
Who the hell
is this kid?
Cydrion
CHARGES.

Whoa…
MRS. KELINZA
Impressive.
NAYOKA
(smiles)
TYBEAST
How come I
don't get any of those?
Cydrion FIRES
a barrage of missiles—ZERO effect.
NAYOKA
Right now, no
other mutants can stand against them. Not even all of us together.
Hydrion and
Cydrion—EXCITED.
A large piece
of the satellite FALLS—attaching to Cydrion, increasing his power and size.
The two
CHARGE. Cydrion ROCKETS up, aiming a punch. Hydrion throws his own.
The IMPACT
echoes—the snow on mountaintops collapses. People's ears RING.
They lock
arms, PUSHING each other. Hydrion proves stronger—Cydrion kneels.
Cydrion
attempts to fire a laser—Hydrion BITES his mouth shut.
Cydrion
launches back missiles—they circle, loop behind Hydrion, and BLAST him.
Still NO
EFFECT.
Hydrion
STRETCHES Cydrion apart—but Cydrion KICKS upward into Hydrion's chin,
BACKFLIPS, lands, and SLASHES.
Hydrion
CATCHES the blade with his mouth.
Hydrion draws
a blade from his wrist—Cydrion grabs it. Hydrion sends a foot-spear from
beneath—PIERCES Cydrion's jaw.
Cydrion begins
OVERCHARGING his core—from red to blue.
Hydrion BREAKS
the blade and THRUSTS his claws into the overheating core—GRABBING the main
one.
Cydrion FALLS.
Hydrion prepares to destroy the core—but Cydrion shows SUBMISSION.
Hydrion HITS
him to the ground and ROARS in his face.
HYDRION
I am KING. Not
you. Not anyone. You got that?
Cydrion NODS
in submission.
Hydrion ROARS
at the sky.
MRS. ELY
It's over…
MRS. KELINZA
What an ego.
Hydrion walks,
transforming back—meets Arkrion.
ARKRION
I will accept
you as my king… but our hosts may never get along.
HYDRION
(pats his
shoulder)
All I care is
that I am king—not a pile of metal. And if anyone should get along, it's the
both of you.
Hydrion
JUMPS—transforms back to Leniel and lands near Ms. Kelinza.
MS. KELINZA
So, what now?
LENIEL
Go home.
Sleep. And have a bite of Florencia's chicken. That's why I went back for her.
FLORENCIA
Seriously?
NAYOKA
All hail King—
LENIEL
I'm not king.
Hydrion is. Let's go home.
Cydrion and
Tri-Drion part ways.
The group
BOARDS a helicopter and takes off.
LENIEL
Are you sure
not killing her was a good idea?
MS. KELINZA

plans for them… very soon.
Suddenly, an
UNKNOWN FIGURE leaps toward their helicopter—
