Chapter 1: The Diary – February 19, 2023
Margaret was a fourteen-year-old teenage girl who loved writing in her diary. Writing was the only way she could understand her own feelings.
On the night of February 19, 2023, she sat on her bed with her diary and a blue pen in her hand. The room was quiet, and the soft light from her lamp fell on the pages.
She began to write.
"Dear Diary,"
"Today something interesting happened. I went to the shop with my friend after school. It was supposed to be a normal day… but then I saw him."
Margaret and her friend were walking through a small shop near their neighborhood. While they were looking at snacks and drinks, Margaret suddenly froze.
Across the shop, she saw Luther.
Luther was the boy she had secretly liked for a long time. Her heart started beating faster the moment she saw him.
The funny thing was that Margaret already knew Luther. He lived near her house, and she had seen him many times before. But she had never told him about her feelings.
She just watched him quietly from a distance.
"He doesn't even know how much I like him," she wrote in her diary.
Margaret left the shop that day with a small smile and a big secret still hidden in her heart.
Chapter 2: The Comet
That same night, something beautiful was happening in the sky.
A bright comet was passing across the night sky, and people everywhere were talking about it.
Margaret was lying on her bed, scrolling through her phone. Her social media was full of videos and reels about the comet. Everyone was sharing clips of the shining light moving across the stars.
Suddenly she had an idea.
"Maybe I can send this to Luther," she thought.
She took one of the comet reels and sent it to him.
After a few minutes, Luther replied.
"Who are you? I don't think I know you," he asked.
Margaret smiled nervously and typed back.
"Maybe you don't know me… but I have known you for a long time. I'm the girl who lives near your house."
After that message, they started talking.
At first it was simple conversation. But slowly the messages became longer. They talked about school, friends, music, and random things.
That night, while the comet was crossing the sky, Luther sent another message.
"People say if you make a wish when a comet passes, it might come true. Do you have any wish?"
Margaret looked at the message for a long time.
Then Luther asked again.
"So… what do you wish for?"
Margaret smiled at her phone.
She didn't say it out loud… but deep inside her heart, she already knew her wish.
And that night, under the comet-filled sky, a special bond began between Margaret and Luther.
Chapter 3: Love and Pain
After the night of the comet, Margaret and Luther started talking every day.
Their conversations slowly became a very important part of Margaret's life. Every morning she would wake up and check if Luther had sent her a message. Every night they talked for hours.
Soon, their friendship turned into love.
Margaret felt safe when she talked to Luther. He understood her jokes, her fears, and even the small things that made her happy. Many of their friends in school also started noticing their closeness.
But life was not always beautiful.
One day, something terrible happened in Margaret's life.
Her mother left the family.
Without any warning, her mother walked away from their home and from Margaret's life. The house suddenly felt empty and cold.
Margaret felt broken inside.
She cried many nights. She stopped smiling like before. Slowly, she started falling into deep sadness and depression.
During that painful time, one person stayed with her.
Luther.
He listened to her, comforted her, and stayed beside her whenever she needed someone. Because of him, Margaret slowly found the strength to move forward.
For a while, their love felt strong and beautiful.
But sometimes, even strong love can change.
