Chapter 1
The continent of Zemuriyah.
It's been more than 120 years, since the great war waged by former chancellor Giliath Osbourne, that plunge the entire continent into chaos. Rean Schwarzer, the hero of Erebonia along with numerous allies defeated the chancellor and help stop the war dead in it's tracks.
It was a major event that cemented, Rean Schwarzer as a great hero of the continent. He was known as The Ashen Chevalier and the Divine Blade of Steel.
Years later, Rean got involved with the disturbance with the Calvard Republic. The cause of the anomalies was something to do with the Septerrion of Time. The Septerrions were the blessings bestowed by the Goddess of the Sky, Aidios.
Rean met Shizuna Misurugi again, after she broke his tachi a few years earlier when he and his family went on a vacation. They ended up dueling each other, although it ended up in a draw this time around.
Rean and Van Arkride were able to put a stop to the anomaly that the Septerrion of Time. The said Septerrion triggers a time reset locking the world in a time loop and cannot move forward. But thanks to the efforts of the heroes of Zemuriyah, time can move forward the future is now unlocked.
After the Calvard incident, Yun ka-fai his Master, the founder of Eight Leaves ask Rean to help him resolve desertification situation that plagued the eastern side of the continent. The situation is what triggered the mass migration crisis in Calvard Republic, as people in the east left in droves, as the land gradually died out.
Rean agreed to help his master, he himself wants to saved the eastern lands, he has seen the migration issue in Calvard with his own very eyes.
Shizuna the Divine Blade of Silver, also a student of Yun, assisted Reeze in the endeavor.
The pair travelled to the East and to find a permanent solution to the problem with the eastern lands dying out. Through out their journey they became close friends. They got caught up with another Septerrion incident in the Ancient Ruins of the Empire of Isca.
Battles were fought among many groups, including Ouroboros and other local groups of Jaegers in the east.
It wasn't long after, the two fell in love. The couple ended becoming victorious by using the Septerrion of Water to revitalize the Eastern Lands. It was revealed that Shizuna is a Descendant of the Imperial house of the Isca Empire.
Rean ended up impregnating Shizuna and he ended marrying her. He adopted the family name Misurugi.
The eastern lands recovered it's vitality in just a year. Many former nobles of the empire of Isca. Asked the couple to re-establish the eastern empire.
They wanted Shizuna to sit on the imperial throne.
Their heroic actions that saved the dying lands rallied people of the east, to their side.
Rean agreed even though personally, he didn't like politics, but he needed to act as a beacon of hope for the people.
Not long after
Shizuna was crowned Empress and Rean was her imperial consort. The Empire of Misurugi was born. Shizuna have birth to a male child, the child became the crowned prince of the empire.
Patrick, a son from one of the four great houses of Erebonia. Married Elise Schwarzer and adopted the Schwarzer family name.
High deposits of Iron and rare earth minerals were found Ymir mountains, bringing a lot of fortune to the barony. Not long after the house of Rogner, lost it's status as a Duke. Their actions during the Erebonian Civil war have ruined their reputation not to mention Angelica the only heir of the house threw away her noble status.
Thanks to the efforts of the Schwarzer and Reinford family, the province of Roer maintained it's economic health.
Alfin Reise Arnor, the Empress of Erebonia promoted house Schwarzer to Dukendom and given provincial control of Roer.
The other three great houses did not contend the desicion and in fact they all welcome it.
Patrick Schwarzer became the head of house Schwarzer.
Not long after, Patrick visited Rean in the new capital of the east, Edo. He wanted to arrange a marriage between his daughter and Rean's son. Shizuna liked the idea, since Rean is from house Schwarzer and would bring good diplomatic relationship with the Erebonia empire.
Luckily enough both children fell in love with each other at first sight and got married at a young age.
Thus the Misurugi Royal line was fully established on the day of their wedding.
Rean established a military school just like thors military academy to train and educate, the young ones of the nation.
Generations later, a princess from the Erebonia Empire married the crowned prince of the Misurugi empire. They had 6 children. 4 boys and identical twins, a boy and a girl.
When the empress gave birth to her 3rd child, the treasure blade of the family, an Odachi passed down from Shizuna had chosen the newly born infant boy, as it's new owner. No one from the Misurugi Family, ever since Shizuna was still alive could draw the sword out of it's scabbard.
Shizuna left an important will to her descendants that whoever becomes the new owner of the sword should not become the heir of the throne, as the sword will choose it's owner for it to live the life of a Divine Blade.
He was named Reeze Arnor Misurugi. He grew up and became a Divine Blade.
During Reeze time, Democracy has taken root as a form of government in many partd of Zemuriyah. Technology brought many conveniences to the world, but it also have the world other problems. Inflation is out of control in many nations. Corrupt and decadent politicians ran rampant across Zemuriyah. Enterprises and Corporations have become parasites sucking the life out of the citizens of the continent. The people gradually over time lost faith in the future, this the continent was heading towards population collapse.
Regular folks couldn't afford to raise families. Humanity wasted their time on silly idealogies and culture wars. Although the Misurugi empire experience less of an impact with the socio-economic problems the world was experiencing. Nevertheless even the great Eastern Empire is also experiencing population decline.
Powerful oligarchs used the financial and the might of their conglomerates to control the world using the said politicians as puppets. They established a hidden organization called Lumina.
They secretly instigated wars secretly through out the decades before even Reeze was born. They used those wars to enrich themselves and Increase their overall power. They used their banking cartel to put nations in debt because governments tend to over spend so the politicians could buy the votes of their voters with social programs and other machinations.
It wasn't long before a 2nd world war erupted as Lumina wanted to weaken the nations so they can install a one world government.
The war lasted for 3 years, Reeze served in the Misurugi imperial military.
The war ended up as a stalemate, much to the disappointment of Lumina.
The Black Order headed by C, kept the war from going out of control. The population were weary of the war and demanded that peace needs to be settled.
Nations state representatives across Zemuriyah went to Crossbell for diplomatic talks for a peace settlement. Both East and Western factions agreed to end all hostilities. The Septian Church acted as the intermediary for the conference.
But peace never came as Lumina had other plans.
The 2nd crown prince of the Misurugi empire and a princess of Erebonia were Assasinated by sniper fire.
This event triggered another war more bloodier than the last.
6 Months later
C activated Operation Guillotine.
The black order sent a special radio broadcast all over the world. They brought forth cases and evidences against Lumina and it's members. How they instigated the wars and their crimes against humanity. C also included the politicians, high members of the government and the military of each respective nations. Lumina couldn't stop the broadcast, as it ran on ancient technology.
This ignited a burning rage with every citizen of Zemuriyah, whether their young or old, male or female. Every military mutinied against their superiors who were part of Lumina. The oligarchs were even betrayed by some of their own mercenaries, as some of them lost some they hold dear because of their schemes. Their families and children were not spared by the enraged mob. Many were slaughtered, executed by firing squads and some were beheaded via guillotine. Those who survived evacuated to a hidden military base under the sea called Yehosephat.
Unfortunately for them the base has already been captured by another radical group called the gnostics. A terrorist organisation secretly funded and controlled by Lumina. It was lead by Yohann another Divine Blade who was a student of Reeze.
Lumina, it's members and their families, they brought along were brutally slaughtered.
Yehosephat rose from the sea, it was a flying fortress and it's accompanied by Airships and Mobile Suit Carriers that is being ran by a powerful AI's.
Yohan made a declaration that he intends to destroy the current civilization so humanity can start anew, the world system is corrupt to the core that the world needs a massive purging.
Hypersonic Nukes were launched from space satellites, targeting the capital cities of every nation.
Heimdall crossbell and Edo were annihilated overnight.
All Nations of Zemuriyah mustered all remaining military assets it can deploy
Thus a great battle was fought on above the season of Megiddo.
Later historians named it the great battle of Armageddon.
It was in this battle Reeze Arnor Misurugi became a world hero, just like his great grandfather. Sadly he perished after defeating Yohann his former beloved student in battle.
It was reported that the 3rd prince died fighting inside Yehosephat.
Zemuriyah lost more than 60% of its entire population.
