Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 – The Punch That Shattered the Flagship

Super Flight granted Yun Chen a level of speed that defied imagination.

Under the endless starry sky, his body streaked forward like a blazing meteor, cutting through the vacuum of space as he charged directly toward the Kree fleet.

"Not good!"

General Kasper's shout echoed across the flagship's command deck.

The Kree officers around him stared at the approaching figure in disbelief. None of them had expected a single individual to descend upon their fleet like a falling star.

"Damn it!"

Kasper slammed his fist onto the console.

"Open fire! Don't let him get close!"

At once, the warships surrounding the formation unleashed their weapons.

Laser cannons ignited.

Energy turrets roared.

Streams of blinding light surged across the star field as dozens of weapons fired simultaneously. The barrage filled the void, attempting to block the rapidly approaching figure.

But Yun Chen's speed was overwhelming.

His body sliced through the layers of artillery fire like lightning. The barrage that should have been impossible to cross was broken apart in an instant.

Then—

Boom!

Yun Chen crashed directly into one of the warships.

The entire vessel trembled violently.

Inside the cockpit, Kree soldiers staggered as the structure shook under the massive impact.

"This guy… is he a monster?!"

The sight outside the viewport made their scalps tingle with terror.

The flying figure had smashed straight through the ship's armor.

Not only that, Yun Chen moved like a prehistoric beast charging through prey. The force of the collision carried him completely through the hull, tearing through the vessel from one side to the other.

The warship began to collapse internally as systems failed.

How could a human body possess such terrifying power?

"Damn it!"

"Pull back! Increase distance!"

General Kasper felt a chill crawl down his spine.

This Kryptonian's physical strength was far beyond anything he had anticipated. The Kryptonian Empire had been destroyed long ago—so how could such a monster still exist?

Inside the cockpit, crew members scrambled frantically.

The engines roared as the flagship attempted to retreat, thrusters blasting fuel in desperate bursts to widen the distance.

But what happened next stunned everyone.

Whoosh.

An ice-blue beam slashed across the star field.

The streak of cold light traveled almost faster than the eye could follow.

In the next instant—

Boom!

A warship was pierced completely through.

The explosion of orange-red fire had barely begun to bloom when the freezing ray continued forward without slowing. The beam swept diagonally through space and struck another vessel.

Boom!

The second ship detonated immediately.

Fragments of twisted metal and flaming debris scattered through the star field like fireworks.

General Kasper's body began to tremble uncontrollably.

Cold sweat streamed down his face.

"That beam… it came from him?"

"What kind of monster is this?!"

Only now did the Kree soldiers finally realize the truth.

The terrifying ice-blue beam that had destroyed their ships earlier had not been fired from some hidden weapon.

It had come from the man flying toward them.

Moments ago they had been boasting proudly.

Capture the Kryptonian alive. If he dies, drag his corpse back and whip it.

Now those arrogant words echoed bitterly in their minds.

With the speed of a meteor.

With the strength to sink warships using his body alone.

With the terrifying power to fire beams capable of destroying entire ships.

How could they possibly fight such a creature?

A Kree soldier collapsed into his seat, despair written across his face.

"How are we supposed to compete with something like that?"

"Idiot!" Kasper roared angrily.

"Stop spreading panic!"

He kicked the terrified soldier aside, sending him crashing to the floor.

At that moment, another explosion erupted outside.

Through the viewport, the crew watched helplessly as yet another Kree vessel was destroyed.

Whoosh.

Yun Chen's eyes had turned completely ice-blue.

Cold light gathered deep within his pupils as continuous beams of freezing energy shot outward, slicing through the darkness and striking enemy ships one after another.

At the same time, the remaining Kree warships desperately returned fire.

Streams of energy blasts and laser cannons converged on Yun Chen's position.

But their attacks were nearly useless.

Yun Chen moved through the battlefield like a fish swimming through water. Most of the beams failed to touch him at all.

Even when a few shots struck his body directly, the result was almost laughable.

The moment the energy weapons hit him, his Energy Absorption ability activated automatically.

Instead of injuring him, the attacks were converted into nourishment.

"Feels like being tickled," Yun Chen murmured calmly.

With every absorbed blast, the energy within his body surged.

The trillions of cells throughout his body pulsed with vitality. Blood flowed through his veins like a roaring river, carrying limitless power.

Boom!

He accelerated again.

Like a shooting star tearing through the night sky, Yun Chen swept across the battlefield.

Soon, another ship entered his field of vision.

This vessel was far larger than the others. Its design was more majestic and imposing, clearly marking it as the command ship of the fleet.

A big fish.

Yun Chen didn't hesitate.

He leaned forward and launched himself straight at the vessel.

Boom!

The warship's armor—designed to withstand heavy artillery strikes—shattered like tofu under the impact.

Yun Chen smashed directly through the hull and entered the interior of the ship.

Inside the command deck, Kree soldiers froze in shock.

The sight of a man crashing through the armor of their flagship was so absurd that their minds struggled to process it.

"Why are you just standing there?!" Kasper roared.

"Attack him!"

But Yun Chen had already moved.

The temperature inside the chamber plummeted instantly as he activated his ability again.

Swish!

A freezing ray swept across the room.

The Kree soldiers standing in front of him had no chance to resist. Their bodies were far weaker than aerospace armor, and the beam sliced through them instantly.

Limbs and torsos were severed in the blink of an eye.

Even those hiding behind thick support pillars could not escape.

The freezing ray pierced through multiple decks, striking enemies hiding behind barriers and killing them instantly.

The beam was so powerful that it blasted through the far end of the ship and erupted into open space.

Within seconds, the ship's core power systems were destroyed.

Explosions erupted throughout the vessel as internal reactors destabilized. Without sufficient power, the massive warship began drifting uncontrollably through space.

The entire structure trembled violently.

It could break apart at any moment.

"Damn Kryptonian!"

A furious roar echoed across the ruined chamber.

General Kasper had narrowly avoided the freezing ray. Now he charged forward with a weapon in his hand.

As a fleet commander, Kasper possessed formidable combat ability.

"Die!"

He raised a blazing energy blade and lunged forward.

Yun Chen raised an eyebrow slightly.

A faint trace of amusement appeared in his eyes.

He simply clenched his right fist.

Then he threw a straight punch.

The movement looked almost casual.

Yet within that simple action lurked an overwhelming force.

Space itself seemed to ripple.

"Shockwave."

Bang!

General Kasper never even reached Yun Chen.

The moment he entered range, an invisible shockwave slammed into him.

His body exploded instantly.

Blood and flesh scattered into the air before he could even scream.

The terrifying force continued outward, slamming into the surrounding structure. The impact tore through the ship's internal framework like a hurricane.

The flagship split apart violently.

Boom!

At last, the Kree fleet's command ship could no longer endure the damage.

The vessel detonated completely.

A sea of blazing fire spread across the star field as the shattered flagship burned in the darkness of space.
