In the middle of a deep forest stood a huge, old banyan tree.
Many birds lived on its branches, building their small nests and raising their families there.
Among them lived a tiny sparrow named Chini.
Chini was very small and not very strong, but she had something very special in her heart—deep faith in God.
Every morning, when the sun rose, Chini would look up at the sky and softly say,
"Dear God, thank you for protecting me and giving me another beautiful day."
One evening, the sky suddenly turned dark.
Heavy clouds covered the forest, and soon a terrible storm began.
The wind blew fiercely.
The branches of the big tree started shaking, and many birds became very frightened.
Some flew away in fear, while others struggled to hold on to their nests.
But little Chini stayed quietly inside her nest.
She closed her eyes and whispered,
"God, I am very small and weak… but I know you are watching over me."
The storm grew stronger.
Some branches broke, and many nests were destroyed.
All night long the storm continued.
The next morning, when the sun finally rose and the forest became calm again, the birds slowly returned to the tree.
They saw that many nests had been broken by the storm.
But surprisingly, Chini's tiny nest was still there, safe and unharmed.
A crow looked at her in surprise and asked,
"How did your nest survive such a terrible storm?"
Chini smiled gently and replied,
"I built my nest with all the care I could… and then I trusted the rest to God."
An old owl sitting on a branch then spoke slowly,
"Today this little bird has taught us a great lesson.
Storms will always come in life…
But those who have faith in their hearts are never truly broken."
Moral of the story:
Do your best in life, and trust the rest to God. Faith gives us the strength to stand strong even in the worst storms. ✨
